LA CASA DI GLADYS

The apartment is beautiful and warm which was great given how cool it was outside. It's situated in the wonderful cobble-stoned old town and there are loads of nice restaurants close by. Lecco is stunning, particularly down by Lake Como on a sunny day. It takes about 2 minutes to get there. Raffaella is the best host ever. Met us at the place where we could park, showed us around the apartment and recommended lovely places to eat.

Great location, 2 minutes from Lake Como, very friendly and helpful host, apartment is equipped with everything you need.

Location is excellent- close to main piazza with lots of restaurants and shopping and close to train and bus station. Restaurant in the courtyard below was generally quiet. Apartment is spacious and has a separate robe for hanging clothes and where luggage can remain for your stay. Washing machine and detergents were great and the drying rack. Supermarket close by.

No toaster to make toast in mornings. Macchinetta for coffee was old and dirty so did not use. Both Air conditioners need a service as they were both making loud noises throughout the night. Shower alcove was a bit tight but manageable. If of a bigger build, this shower may be difficult to get in and out of. No lift but apartment on the 1st floor so not too difficult to get to with luggage.

The flat is beautifully decorated and has a great location in the town of Lecco. It was well equipped and spacious for two. Plus for the aircon and comfortable bed. Shampoo & conditioner were provided.

The communication with the staff/hosts was not great (ie. they were an hour late from agreed check in and were unresponsive at first). Whilst the property was well equipped, they didn’t have dishwashing tablets for instance which is a minor con, but a frustrating one. The shower might be a tad small for a bigger person.
