It is the best place where I lived. The apartment is big, clean, very comfortable for two people. All things needed for cooking are available. The view from the terrace is stunning. Both bed and sofa are very comfortable for sleeping. Pool is great: 03.06 water was warm enough, you swim almost always alone. The Lenno is very safe town. There are good grocery store Sigma, Bar Pasticceria Tremezzina with bus tickets and delicious ice cream very close to apartment. 10 minutes away located Pasticceria L'étoile with great coffee and sweets. In Lenno located the most beautiful villa on Como lake -Balbianello.

The apartment was in a complex that was very retreated from the traffic, protected and quiet, with a barrier. A short stroll down the streets can put you right on the main road, the location is 15 minutes from the lakeside. The view from the balcony was also very pretty, seeing the lake and the mountains above the other houses. You can also enjoy the pool that is common for all the inhabitants, but was not really crowded - I think during our 4 days stay, one 1-2 other persons used it. The host was very responsive to all our messages on WhatsApp.

The keys needed to be picked up at another location than the apartment (7-8 minutes of walking), rather of having a box with a pin by the door. The bundle of keys was very big, with a lot of key tags and other items attached, and they could barely fit in a jeans pocket. Also the keys had funky shapes and the door mechanism was pretty complicated to use. The electric kettle was full of scale on the inside, and the lid was not closing. It looked like it was not cleaned in months. There was only 1 toilet paper roll, 1 dishwasher tablet and enough shower gel for 1 shower. At the check out, when we asked the host about this, she replied that "Supplies are offered only for the 1st day of the stay, the rest needs to be procured by the guests". The shower hose had a kink right at the base, and every time you tried to shower, the water was not flowing properly. Before the check out, the host asked us to take out the trash (recycled and compostable) - even though we paid a cleaning fee (which in my opinion also includes this) - and again, the trash disposal location was in another area to which we had to drive (with the trash bags, in our rental car...). The apartment had pretty bad lighting, the bulbs were all relatively dim. In the bathroom, with all the light on, when you close the shower door, you are suddenly washing in the dark. Also, all windows had only exterior roller blinds, without curtains on the interior. So you either had full darkness inside, or everything exposed. And if you let the rollers half-way open, you cannot exit on the balcony.

The hosts & owners were wonderful and pleasant to communicate with. They answered all our questions through phone / texts / whatsapp. Super, super friendly. The location was great - Lenno itself is the perfect location to visit all areas of Lake Como. The bus stop to get to other towns was only a few minutes walk from the apartment, and the Ferry just a bit of a longer walk, but a very nice scenic stroll. The view the mountains from the balcony was beautiful, especially at sunset. The residents in the the building & area were very helpful and friendly. The pool was kept very clean. The price was amazing compared to many others. We wanted to extend another day before we got there (as plans changed), and the owner was very helpful in adding an extra day. We really appreciated that.

We were 3 adults staying in this apartment - which we knew would be small, but it was a lot smaller than expected. It is definitely not comfortable for a week long stay for 3 adults. The sofa bed was covered with a blanket - which when taken off, to use as a bed - the leather peeled everywhere, and was constantly sticking to the person sleeping there. The shower was blocked on our arrival - there was white gunk in the drain. We knew the apartment was not air conditioned - but we were assured there was a fan, and if we needed another, to let them know. So we did. It was 32-37 degrees during our week long stay and it was unbearable. The fan provided in the apartment let off absolutely no air. We were then told to go to the basement to use the spare fan, which also did not work. We were not offered anything after that, and our quality of sleep and overall experience of the apartment was ruined. We could not cook as it made the apartment too hot, we had to keep the shutters closed because we couldn't stand the heat. I feel like an appropriate response to this would have been for the hosts to purchase 2x fans to replace the broken ones during our stay - but they only suggested that we should go buy one from the shop infront of the key collection place. We did not want to purchase fans for an apartment we do not own - and what would we have done with the fans after our stay? We were not told if we would have been compensated for it. We were in Lake Como, mainly to go hiking. Due to the lack of sleep we got (from having no working fans), it did ruin, and made our hikes more difficult as we lacked energy. We were told to take the bins out at the end of our stay (absolutely fine!) But what they did not say, until we asked where to leave them - is that it was a 15 minute walk from the apartment. Which was ridiculous considering we were carrying our bags to go home, on top of that. Would not recommend to stay in peak heat.
