Nour House

Très belle maison traditionnelle, spacieuse, au calme, propre. La piscine est un vrai plus, très agréable. Excellent rapport qualité prix

Il faudrait rajouter quelques équipements dans la cuisine (assiettes, couverts etc)

I stayed here for a couple of months and loved it - I would definitely like to come back! My favourite spot is the balcony overlooking a banana plantation - perfect for enjoying breakfast in the morning sunshine. The apartment is spacious, clean and comfortable, and having a pool is a lovely bonus. (It's not heated, so very bracing when you first get in, at least in winter, but lovely and refreshing.) The area is lovely with plenty of greenery and a village feel, but it's only about 10 minutes' walk to a busier area with fruit and veg shops, bakers, pharmacies and little supermarkets, etc. There are some great family-run restaurants only a few minutes walk away, as well as a very handy ATM at the Al Baeirat hotel. Ahmed is a fantastic host - reliable, straightforward and very hardworking. He lives near the apartment and I enjoyed meeting his lovely family. Any time any small issues came up in the apartment, as they inevitably will during a long stay, he got them resolved very quickly, and he was quick to respond to any questions. He was also very helpful in arranging transport and giving advice about the local area. I felt very safe staying here as a solo female traveller. Highly recommended for a long or short stay.

There's quite a lot of noise around the apartment but that's standard for Luxor, even on the quieter West Bank. Bring earplugs!

Nour house is a beautiful villa in Luxor. We stayed at Nour house for 4 days. There are amenities around the house, including restaurants and few shops. Nile and ferry to Luxor and Karnark temples is 10 mins walk from Nour house. The ferry will take ~15 mins to reach the temples. Our host Ahmed (owner of Nour house) brought good Egyptian breakfast and was very helpful throughout our stay in Luxor. The house is good average sized with balconies and had a view to banana plantation. Overall we had a wonderful experience at Nour house and would recommend to anyone who wish to have a relaxed budget holiday in Luxor.

Très belle guesthouse avec piscine, très spacieuse et très propre. Ahmed était à nos petits soins. Vraiment on recommande cette adresse. Nous étions à 5mn à pied du restaurant the farmer's house une merveille y sommes allés plusieurs fois. Excellente cuisine locale, et mohamed et son frère sont d'une gentillesse inouïe et en plus ils louent des mobylettes motos 🏍
