Casa Sant'Agostino CITRA LT-2407

The location is very good, the host met us and is very friendly. There is a very nice kitchen, well equipped – there is everything you need for cooking and dining, also washing machine is very helpful, the wi-fi connection is good as well as TV. The bedroom is nice and clean

The apartment was wet, because it is located on the 1st floor and the windows are always in shadows (because the buildings in the old town are very close to each other, and there is no direct sunlight in the first floor). There is no air conditioner, so I guess without it there is no chance to make the room dry. So our clothes got wet and didn't dry at all, especially in rainy days. The bedroom is nice, but the common area is not so cosy.

Location and cleanliness

The dishwasher and the clothes' washer were definitely a plus. The cooking surface by induction worked well. Quite close to the metro station with a small supermarket nearby.

It says in the description on Booking that there is a sofa bed; I was travelling with my son. But when we arrived, first we had to wait another 30 minutes for the father of the owner to come and then, he said the sofa bed was ''broke'' not to open it. I had my tablet with me, even at the last minute the owner could have warned me. My son is more than six feet tall. The bed in the room was only a regular double, so I had to sleep on a very short sofa. The owner also told me that it was a ground floor apartment, but there are 7 very high steps to negotiate. Not easy AT 76 YEAR OLD.

The bed was comfy, good temperature in the apartment, nice location easily in walking distance of most of the city/also to subway and train/bus stations, and lots of great cafes and restaurants. Laura and Luca were lovely.

The owner was very kind and came to meet us at a nearby square otherwise it would have been difficult to find the place. It is in the middle of the old town with historical buildings so it is nice to walk around. There was a shop and a Pizzeria for 5 minutes walk.

Unfortunately there is no air condition, only a fan. The staircase door is quite noisy and every step of the upper neighbor can be heard, even at night which made us waking up and not sleeping well. From the nearest parking place there is quite a lot of stairs to climb with the luggages to reach the appartment.

The man was very polite, despite communication not being easy.

The space was very very small, the ceiling was very low and the (small) windows didn't make the space bigger. Heath, mosquitos, claustrofobia, no ventilation options,... The room overall had everything it said but if you don't like small, hot, damp spaces, this is not the place for you Also, the WiFi stopped working, I send a text to the owner and they never answered....

Amazing host and location, even spontaneously provided help finding a secure parking and gave us a lot of very good tips. Situated in a very convenient location.

The appartment is quite loud (loud main door and neighbours upstairs and you can hear the people walking by). There is no mosquito net. It would be more convenient to pay the city tax with card.
