Our short sea escape couldn't be better! Million thanks to Ivana and her family.

This is a lovely spot. About 10 minutes from Hvar, right on the water. This is a 4 generation family operated property. The nicest and most unusual thing about this property is the hosts. They are very family friendly. The kitchen is run by the son who is the main cook and the meals are family style. You have a few choices on the menu and it includes soup, your main course with vegetables/sides dessert, and wine. They make their own wine and bring a bottle to your table. Breakfast is buffet style and there is something for everyone. We were offered transportation to/from Hvar so we could see the sights and our hostess gave us a short history of her family on the island. You are made to feel so welcome. They are there for you and want to make sure you have an enjoyable stay on this lovely island. I wish we could have stayed longer.

The host Ivana went out of her way to make us feel at home. She gave us many advices and information about the island. We also had delicious breakfast and dinner for a very good price. The apartment was spacious and very well equipped with view of the sea from the balcony.

Don't come with a big car, as you have to pass the other apartment houses on a very narrow road to the parking.

That is rare when it doesn't feel right to rate a place in standard hotel categories. The host, Ivana, welcomed us with exceptional hospitality. She shared much information about Hvar as her family is long connected to the place. We had a great dinner there and could use the vast (!) barbecue place and a well-equipped kitchen to cook ourselves. The apartment was spotless and had a balcony with an outstanding sea view on the first line. We also had parking right in front of the building, which was super handy given the tiny street on which the place is located. The town, Milna, has very nice beaches. It is close to the best spots in this part of the island, so that we could explore everything easily. And a special compliment to the wine that the family produces. Overall, that is a wonderful place that is worth coming back to :)

Ivana and her kind and hard-working husband, Dinko,will make sure your stay is pleasant. We visited Milna in May for 11 days taking side trips to other parts of the island. The apartment served as a base. It offered all the conveniences we required. In our case, we liked the size of a refrigerator, availability of the microwave, peace and quiet. The bed was comfortable. Cleaning was even too frequent for us. Surprising gifts and an invitation to a dinner in their small restaurant. Lots of warmth coming from Ivana. We do not guarantee peace and quiet during the season or whether you will like the neighborhood's beaches and area as we preferred other places. If you want to spend time in city of Hvar, it's a great base. Ivana and Dinko are good people so just for them I would recommend their apartments.
