Stargazy Garden

Stargazy Garden was a perfect fit for us. The cabin was cosy, well equipped and comfortable and the beautifully landscaped gardens create a feeling of true serenity - especially at night with the lights! We'd seen the information on the Irish Bar but hadn't fully appreciated what an unique feature it was, we took a bottle of wine up and had a lovely evening playing pool. This was such a nice touch on a wintery night. Lee & Sharon are full of warmth and made us feel so welcome.

This place is absolutely magical. Wonderful, friendly and helpful hosts. The accommodation is perfect 👌 Comfy bed, everything you could need and the private pub in the garden was so much fun. We went out to loads of great places nearby for food and walks, and yet it was always exciting to come 'home' and have a pool and darts tournament 🤣 I will recommend to all my friends and family and hope to visit again one day. And Gordon the dog had a fantastic time. Thank you!

Very clean and comfortable. Hosts were excellent.

Minor point. Parking and the state of the road.

The self-contained apartment was lovely, set in gorgeous gardens. It’s almost like a mini Eden. The pub at the top of the garden is so well thought out. We had a great time playing pool. The hosts were such lovely, welcoming people. The apartment is reached by going through their home, which initially seemed a little odd, but as soon as you realise that they are genuinely happy to see you, it was so nice to stop and chat.

Not a fault of the property or hosts at all, but there was building work happening next door and some banging did disturb the peace a bit.

The value for money is unreal. Booked this on a whim and got a lovely little cabin to myself, and then behind that was my own personal Irish pub! You have to bring your own booze but I played darts and pool with my brother which was great! Hosts Lee and Sharon were very accommodating and gave good recommendations. Their dogs were very friendly too!

Nothing about the stay was bad.
