Alojamento Pestana

It was a huge apartment with a lot of space (separate dining room, kitchen, sitting room and living room+3 bedrooms). The design was fancy and the facilities were extraordinary. (Every kind of kitchen stuff, such as am air fryer, oven, etc) We had also a big flat-screen tv with netflix. It’s location is also good, right in the city center. The price was also fair.

We didn’t like the lack of mosquito nets on the windows. Also, the cars on the street were very noisy, because of the cobble-stone road just under the bedroom windows. (The apartment is on the second floor, but still…) The cleaning was not perfect. Also not unbearable, but we were not completely satisfied with it. We also didn’t really appreciated the fact, that the duvet was not fully covered with the bed linen. We just got a sheet, placed under the duvet, which we found uncomfortable and a bit unhygenic.

Super big place with terrace and very clean! Definitely recommend.

The size of the rooms and layout of the apartment made it so everyone could have quiet when they needed it. The apartment was well equipped and the location made our stay extra special. The outdoor patio and garden gave us a place to relax when at home, but still be outside.

There were a couple of issues that simply need fixing. The door handle between the kitchen and dining room got loose and stuck shut, so we couldn't get into the kitchen while the sandwich press was on. Luckily, I was able to come into the kitchen from the garden entrance and get the stuck door open from the other side. Secondly, the building door lock was finicky. The person on the first floor gave us a tip that is we shut the door slowly, the door will lock correctly. I think a sign on the door or a note in the apartment would be helpful.
