The Treehouse by Airlie

We visited with our three young kids who loved the bunk bed and amazing garden. Very well-appointed property with everything you need. Clean and well-organized- the owner went above and beyond to make our visit seamless. The back deck and outdoor kitchen at this property were so magical that we decided to order take away and enjoy our last dinner in Scotland here. The host was extremely welcoming, offering us all sorts of treats and essentials upon arrival including fresh baked bread, milk, and fresh fruit. Great location within walking distance to several churches and restaurants and located on a beautiful street lined with historic stone homes. It was perfect! We were so delighted!

The space was perfect for a family of five for a short stay but might have been on the small side for an extended stay.

I loved the amenities and the host. Very welcoming and helpful. All the plants in the back room reminded us of home and dining on the covered patio expanded our living area nicely.

Nothing we didn’t like.

Well located property with quirky but usable covered garden space which afforded family an area to relax in spite of the weather !

We had heavy rain one day and the roof of the conservatory leaked a bit.

Bijou little property with a lovely garden room (sadly our stay so short we didn’t get chance to really utilise)

The oven is only a tabletop - we brought pizzas to cook in the oven - but if a challenge when it’s a mini one. Not a problem overall but could do with updating info to say that it’s a small size rather than a standard oven. Otherwise all good.

The conservatory was great and there was lots of space for our 1 year old to explore. The fresh bread and supplies in the fridge were perfect

Comfortable beds, sofa, and lovely sunroom/fruit tree area attached and the roses will be in bloom for the next visitors. The kitchen is very compact and contains all that is needed. Very close to Culloden site. Nairn is a lovely little town. We didn't meet the owners but communication was prompt. Much appreciated little extras.

The headroom could be inconvenient for someone who is 6'2...having to duck down the corridor.

Winter garden made our stay so plesant. This makes this property stand out and very special. Beds were very comfortable and location is very good for walking.
