Art Apartments

The location.

There is no dishwasher.

Apartment was easy to find on the main road if you type in ‘ART Apartments’ (the location in the description took us to a different road) and is conveniently located, only a ten minute walk to the old town. The apartment itself is very spacious and includes an open plan kitchen, dining and lounge area. The window shutters throughout the apartment were very good and blocked all light at night. You can tell effort has been made to decorate it, the rooms were tidy and the bed was made nicely. We even received a gift bag of chocolate and coffee upon arrival which was a very kind gift for our anniversary and the host was very friendly.

Unfortunately, there were a few things we felt let the apartment down in terms of quality and comfort. Bedroom: we found the bed extremely hard and uncomfortable; there was only a thin bed sheet to cover us which wasn’t very cosy; there was no aircon in the bedroom; and the bedroom door was very noisy and difficult to close. Bathroom: there were a number of exposed wires on the walls which seemed like a potential safety issue; the bathroom door and extractor fan were dirty and dusty; there was no shower gel and shampoo provided which was a shame; there was no place to hang your towel in the bathroom while you shower so we had to rest them in the sink which didn’t feel very luxurious; finally, the shower head did not stay in place (it flew up and would wet the entire bathroom) so we had to turn it off every time we needed to get our shampoo etc. Surroundings: while we were only a 10 minute walk to the old town, there was no option to reserve a car parking space outside of the apartment; we had to park our car in the public car park down the road which was quite run down and didn’t feel very safe to leave our hire car.

Spacious, very clean, friendly owner, very short walk from supermarket and kotor walled city.

Bathroom drains smelt and bedroom door is difficult to close.

Spacious , great location. Facilities such as microwave and kettle.

Cleaner didn’t leave towels. Had to contact owner but also look in cupboards outside the apartment. They were available however something basic could have been visible.
