Sunny Studio Nerja

Appartamento bello, pulito, luminoso e dotato di TUTTO! La terrazza super ampia e favolosa Antonio è stato fantastico! Ci ha consigliato dove mangiare e cosa visitare. Inoltre è stato sempre presente per qualsiasi cosa. Trovare proprietari così è davvero raro!

This is a compact but well laid out studio apartment. The main room has a comfortable bed and a small kitchen area. There is an excellent separate bathroom with a very good shower and another small room with hanging and shelf space. The apartment was really clean and tidy and had everything in I needed. I was nice to have some fruit and wine left for me when I arrived. The highlight is the large outside terrace, the apartment is on the top floor so the terrace is not overlooked and is very private with views over the roof tops to the sea. At night there was a cool breeze. In the day part is covered so there is shade and the rest in sun. There were comfortable seating and sun loungers and I spent quite a lot of time relaxing on the terrace. The location is perfect in a quite steet jut a few minutes walk from the older part of town and with many cafe's and restaurants only a few minutes walk away. There is a beach about 10 minutes walk away or the bigger Burriana beach about a 15 minute walk. Overall this is a really nice apartment that I would recommend.

The only thing I would suggest as an improvement was the arrival. I was driving in a hire car to Nerja and Jose the owner had messaged me saying he would book a parking pass for the Carabeo parking. This is a large public parking area and you get a parking pass for the period of your stay. I visited in July and there was always plenty of space. This parking area is about 2 minutes walk from the apartment. Two days before I arrived Jose messaged me to say I should go straight to the apartment and then telephone his wife Mari and she would then give me the parking pass. Jose gave me his wife's telephone number. On the day of arrival Jose then called me and messaged me changing this and saying Mari would be standing outside a local cafe and to call her as I got there and she would take me to the parking. He again gave me her telephone number and I didn't realise that this was a different number to the one he gave before. This meant I had to try and find the cafe and try and call Mari in what are very narrow streets where its not possible to stop. I had to drive round three times before I realised I had two different telephone numbers. Once I called the right one I found Mari who took me to the parking. With hindsight it would have been far easier if Jose had told me to go to the entrance to the Carabeo parking which is a wider street where you can pull over and either he or Mari could have met me there. While this is a minor point it could have been made much easier so hence mentioning it.

Wir wurden sehr freundlich von Mari empfangen. Als Begrüßung gab es frische Weintrauben, eine Flasche Wein und Süßigkeiten. Sogar Kaffeekapseln waren vorhanden. Das Apartment ist einfach super schön und mit vielen lieben Details ausgestattet. Es gab einen kleinen Extraraum, in dem wir sehr viel Platz für unsere Anziehsachen und andere Dinge hatten. In dem Raum fanden wir sogar Einkaufstaschen sowie eine Kühlbox für den Einkauf, was bei der Hitze ein großer Vorteil war. Das Badezimmer ist sehr stylisch und alles war makellos sauber! Ein Highlight ist definitiv die private Terrasse mit Sonnenliegen, Stühlen mit Esstisch und einem bequemen Outdoorsofa. Man hat einen tollen Blick über die Dächer von Nerja und auf das Meer. Jose und Mari waren ausgezeichnete Gastgeber und immer für uns erreichbar.

Für uns war alles gut.

The property was in the absolute perfect location, was immaculately clean and had everything you needed.

We have stayed in Nerja many times and always like to find somewhere family-owned in the centre of town with a sunny terrace. This place was a great find - especially the sunny terrace - and right in the centre of town. Fabulous! It's a studio so it's compact but it's been very well thought out, it's clean and very well equipped with a fantastic shower/bathroom, really comfortable bed and plenty of storage space. The kitchen had all the facilities required although we did ask for a couple of extra things like serving bowls for salads which were quickly brought up to us. Thank you! There were also lots of extras - a bottle of wine, sweet treats, fruit etc - very kind of Mari Carmen and Jose Antonio who we met briefly and were charming. Bathrobes and slippers were a nice touch! Aircon/heating was handy as it did get a bit chilly before heading out at night time. But most of the time we were out and about or on that gorgeous terrace which had 2 sunbeds, a small table and chairs plus a larger table and a chair and sofa undercover which was especially nice at nighttime with lovely lights and a water feature. We would definitely stay again and would recommend it.

If the weather had not been as good we would have really liked an English channel on the TV or maybe a smart TV so we could have perhaps used Netflix? But a minor point on this occasion for just a week. For a longer winter stay in the future that is something we would look for though I think.

This accommodation was perfect. The location was really quiet, yet very central, with everything you'd need within a couple of minutes walk. The huge terrace was the highlight, with both shaded and sunny sections, it was completely private and not overlooked. The studio had everything that you might need; the seating and bed were very comfortable, air conditioning/heating, high speed wifi, plenty of hot water & decent water pressure, every kitchen appliance & utensil, a washing machine, and everything was spotlessly clean. Jose & Mari were both lovely to deal with, overall this was an excellent stay.

What can I say apart from absolutely fantastic. Studio sunny Nerja had everything you could ask for. If your looking for a relaxing holiday, then this is the place. The sun terrace is the best feature. So peaceful.
