CARABEO 72 MENYBER

We purposefully booked accommodation with air conditioning for a stay in 30+ degree heat in August and when I complained that the system wasn’t working I was ignored for days. When I complained to booking dot com I was laughed at and told I must have made a mistake. Calls are recorded right? The property management company had changed their ad *after* I complained. Luckily I kept screenshots of what I’d booked. I was sold a service I never received and it ruined our holiday. We couldn’t sleep at night or find any relief from the heat and we were either ignored or laughed at when we complained. I’ve been offered a nominal discount as compensation for our experience and I am extremely unhappy with it.

Being ignored by the property company about the lack of an important facility as advertised and being laughed at and accused of making a mistake and not knowing the difference between a cooling fan and air conditioning by one of the booking dot com staff. Calls are recorded. Booking dot com should have a record of all communication.

The location was perfect for everything, our second stay here.

The beds were not very comfortable and the air conditioning brought in a very bad smell.

Position

We had an fabulous stay... Amazing seaviews from the balcony 😃 Apartment was Spanish style beautiful.. Perfect location very close to everything little italy restaurant near by food was great prices amazing value .. Definitely would recommend this apartment .. we will be back

Unfortunately the light in the bathroom kept flickering .. and the shower was spraying from the taps .. did report it didn't hear back .. also we bought deck chairs for the beach not realising few days later ..There were deckchairs under the bed... Otherwise we had a great stay 😃

Perfect location in a quiet part of town. Excellent restaurants a few steps away.

The hotel holding the keys was a 12EURO taxi ride from the property so having someone meet guests at the location would be a great help.

Great position, great balcony.

Work was being carried out upstairs....sometimes, but not often, noisely intrusive.

The position is great. Although not a lot of privacy when on the terrace. Lots of people stop right next to the apartment to take photos.

At night lots of teenagers used the stairs and the beach as a late night party venue. We couldn’t use the terrace after about 11 o’clock in the evening. The noise went on until about 2 am 3am. On our last night people were still hanging around at 5.30 am.
