Dunas Triplex

Property was a great size and had everything a family would need. Quite location close to supermarket and marina.

The pool area is as photographed but could do with some planting to make it more appealing. The local area directly outside the apartment could also be better maintained. The beach was close and once there was accessible via a gorgeous boardwalk however it’s initially accessed from the apartment via a dirt track beside the train station which is definitely not suitable for buggies or anyone with a disability. The alternative is a longer walk.

The house had everything you need for a family trip. We travelled with 5 adults, 4 year old and a baby. Baby cot and highchair were provided, as well as having buckets and spades for kids to pop to the beach with. The stairs had safety gates and the outdoor areas had gates to keep kids separate to the pool area. The house was spotless. Great location as only a few minutes walk from a beautiful clean beach, marina, train station, taxis and the old town. WiFi was good and air con worked, shutters on patio doors were excellent for keeping the place cool/dark for kids naps/night time. Manager was very pleasant and helpful to deal with and arranged our airport transfers for us.

Only as we have a curious 1 year old, the upstairs hallway does have a safety gate on the stairs which is great but my boy was small enough to fit himself through/under the bars of the rails which was worrying so we couldn't let him in the hallway alone. But it would be safe for older kids and only something to be wary of with babies/small toddlers. Overall the other living areas/bedrooms were super safe for them.
