The pool looked nice.

Everything!!! Nobody there to meet us on arrival. It was very dark and we had no idea how to find our rooms. The rooms ( once located) were incredibly small and hot! No air conditioning was left on for us as apparently this needs to be arranged prior to arrival. We left after only one night as it was so poor!

Our stay at Kekatos Studios was hideous and only lasted 12hrs. We had booked to stay for a week and arrived last night at around 10pm when it had got quite dark. There were absolutely no instructions on how we should find our rooms! No email sent prior to our arrival to advise how to find our rooms. Nobody around to help us find our rooms. No sufficient lighting around to help us find our rooms. It was ridiculous. Then eventually we found our rooms which were so tiny that you couldn’t swing a cat in them! Unlike the photos that were falsely shown on their website which looked quite spacious and comfortable. Once inside the doors to open onto the balcony were extremely difficult to open to let any air inside, we knocked on a neighbour’s door to ask for help, as it was almost claustrophobic!!! No air conditioning as apparently we should have added this before our arrival ( which again we were not told) The night was awful as it was hot/sweaty/noisy and tiny!!! Our disappointment was unbearable as we had so been looking forward to this holiday!!! Absolutely nothing on the website had indicated that Kekatos Studios would be like this. First thing this morning we searched for alternative accommodation as there was NO WAY we were staying any longer than necessary. If you are thinking of staying at this accommodation, make sure you have prepared for this unpleasant experience!! It’s a real shame as it truly ruined the start of our holiday. Obviously we did ask for some kind of refund or reimbursement or compensation of any kind but they were not very helpful in this request. Our stay at Kekatos was just awful from start to finish and only lasted 12hrs!!!

The location was perfect although a steep small hill but views were gorgeous. Very basic apartment but very clean. Did not meet hosts, only the cleaner who arranged air con and safe box. Pool was good and pool area excellent.

Only criticism is that you were asked the day before departure to pay 203 Euros for the air con and safe, which we knew about and agreed to the cost, but we assumed it would be taken out of the account but they asked for cash. Obviously, on the last day, you have tried to spend your Euros so we had to lift more money out of the ATM. This should be made clear upon arrival that cash is expected.

First lets address the steep hill that takes you upto the studios, yes it is steep but you just need to take it steady. I'm in my sixties but managed ok. People with mobility issues might not manage so well so bare it in mind when booking. The views from the apartments are well worth the effort. The apartments are spotlessly clean and well looked afte apart some some minor issues with light bulbs that need replacing outside the apartments. One of the cleaners is the person who deals with providing access to your room, we had to wait a short while until it was ready. the rooms themselves are perfectly adequate basic but clean i didn't find the small bathroom a problem it's generally par for the course in Greece. We really enjoyed our stay at Kekatos studios Lassi staff were friendly and the place is well maintaied and of course the views are the best we've had from a holiday.

Would’ve been nicer if the air conditioning was included in the price.

Warm welcoming Lola was lovely & a good cleanliness level throughout. The spectacular view from our balcony on top floor (studios 1 & 2) makes the place & stay special, as do the outdoor communal spaces especially the little sitting areas all around. Pool definitely needs cleaned more often. Sunbeds are plastic so we used towels to avoid sticking to the hot plastic It's up a short steep hill opposite a supermarket so be aware of the heat while carrying up groceries. There is our favourite taverna - Zorbas - nearby. Bus stop to airport & Argostoli is nearby, but bus never came?? This complex charge €7 per day for air conditioning & also a fee for a safe & a city tax which we didn't have any of in the week before at another resort? Our biggest dissatisfaction was no wifi for the entire week in the room at all, something about the storm & you had to go outside??? - it didn't work by router either and telly didn't work at all. We did report this twice but not sure if team member spoke English?? but nothing done. There are no mosquito nets up on windows unlike other places we've stayed in - it is time of year for mossies & we got eaten alive. The studio is cramped but they provide the biggest lovely double bed ever. We booked through Loveholidays.com. Storage was ok for 1 week, it is very much a studio. Mirror is not for tall people so we kept banging our arm against telly at mirror. No long mirror provided. Small kitchenette in an awkward place behind the door. The worst sized shower I've ever had ever in all my travels with the clingiest shower curtain ever!! I absolutely hated the shower and bathroom as I kept banging myself off things, however some lovely sea and sky toiletries were provided. There was hot water and pressure ok. Good sized balcony to watch the stunning sunsets & boats etc. Not enough pegs to hang clothes & towels on dryer, as it was windy. There is no one there in evenings to ask for stuff. There were a few guests in neighbouring complex having arguments overnight & local dogs were then disturbed & barking, so this disturbed me one night. Gardens and communal areas are absolutely lovely & a swimming pool practically all to ourselves, does need cleaned more. This property would benefit from a wee honesty bar or a vending machine or something - lots of space for it. There is no drinks available at all. It is relaxing here and great access to Lassi shops, bars, tavernas and stunning beaches and beach bars. Best food & hospitality option we found was the fantastic Zorbas Taverna just at bottom of hill walkable. There are a few breakfast places open such as Kefalos, Bits and Bite. Hotel Irilena is lovely place, lovely batman there, for a cocktail. Beach bars are great as is restaurant Sto Psito with it's stunning view over Kalami beach. Check out beach bar on Gradakia beach. I'm not sure if we would go back to Kekatos - 🤔?? 💚💚 Flossy & Erik
