Dalouda

The garden and pool area was lovely. The kids enjoyed the pool. We spent 3 nights in the family deluxe room. This room is not part of the 5 building overlooking the pool. We did not have a garden or pool view. We did not expect to have a room overlooking the carpark. 10 minute walk into town.

We did not expect to have a room looking at the carpark. When I requested if there was another room from the host, he kindly informed me 4 times that it was not his fault and that I had booked the accommodation… this created a very uncomfortable and awkward conversation…. The host said, that all the photos are online and that all the rooms were full. After we had unpacked, the host came to see us and offered us to leave if we were not happy with the room. Having no faith in the booking agency or the host, given it states ‘ no cancellation or refund’, we stayed and made the best of it. The bedroom has a skylight with no opening window. Once the 2 sofa beds were opened, the living room is compact. The kitchen has basic items. It would be nice to have additional items like sponge or papertowels and salt or oil. This is not a kitchen for cooking, more like having cereal for breakfast.. The accommodation was tricky to find as there is no signage in the street. The google pin sent takes you to the beach. Stop at Margos or the mini-mart for directions. If we stayed again, we would have liked to stay in the rooms advertised overlooking the garden or pool. There is better value in the area rather than the room we received. There are exposed electrical wires beside the shower in the bathroom… this at a minimum should be secured and made safe.

We loved Dalouda! Its even better than the pics. The garden and pool area is a really lovely peaceful space... clean and well kept and quiet! We enjoyed the house space with all the balconies and the bed was super comfortable, not too hard or too soft. We would love to return if we ever come back to Parga! Thank you to the owners who work so hard.

The furniture by the pool was all very comfortable and beautiful but we would have preferred some full shade umbrellas rather than mesh. However there is full shade available over by the trees.

Only 5 accommodation buildings, which at the same time means a maximum of only 5 groups of guests guarantee privacy, peace and quiet. Peaceful surroundings, forest nearby, well-maintained meadow. Spacious apartments (mine was approx. 80 m2, each room has its own furnished terrace.

Poor lighting in the kitchen area. The kitchen pan did not have a flat bottom and there was no lid for it!
