Domus Alba Lenno

Had a wonderful stay here in Lenno, which is a beautiful part of Lake Como which feels more authentic and peaceful. You definitely get to escape the crowds and touristy feel here. Maurizio is a great host, gives you all the tips on transport, where to go and is very accommodating with self-check in options and luggage storage. Thanks for a wonderful stay. We will be back for sure

Appartment - sehr geräumig und liebevoll gestaltet, so dass man direkt ein heimisches Gefühl bekommt - die Küche ist voll ausgestattet - das Bad ist sehr modern - das Appartment war insgesamt sehr sauber Lage - die Lage ist unschlagbar, da das Appartment so gut wie direkt am See von Lenno liegt - in unmittelbarer Nähe befinden sich ausreichend kostenlose Parkplätze (darauf achten, dass sie weiß gekennzeichnet sind) - Zwei Supermärkte (dino - eher kleiner, sigma- sehr groß und viel Auswahl) sind fussläufig erreichbar Service - Maurizio ist ein hervorragender Gastgeber, sehr zuvorkommend und stets erreichbar; wir wurden mit sehr vielen Informationen und hilfreichen Tipps versorgt - der CheckIn war unkompliziert; wenige Stunden nach dem Self CheckIn empfing uns Maurizio noch persönlich

Nur Hinweise, keine direkte Kritik: Da sich das Appartment im Erdgeschoss befand, war es eher dunkel. Es gab keine Aussicht. Das Schlafzimmer ist zu dem Weg ausgerichtet, der zum See führt. Insofern kann es ein wenig lauter werden.

The location was beautiful. The flat had a nice rustic cabin-like ambiance with modern amenities. This property was right on the lake and the host was extremely responsive and helpful whenever needed. The flat was also a 30 minute walk from Villa Del Balbianello. In addition it was a short walk from the Lenno Ferry and bus stop which made it very convenient for all our travel needs.

This was a perfect place to stay! Easy access to bus and ferry, close to Villa Balbianello, close to restaurants, cafes and supermarkets, beautiful location with a beautiful view. Kitchen is very well set up for cooking. Host provided excellent information about check in and check out and about Lenno, which was a really wonderful town.

Die Lage und die Ausstattung. Maurizio war sehr hilfreich und freundlich. Die Wohnung war für uns (2 Erwachsene und 1 Kind) ideal. Das Sofa in Küche/Ess-/Wohnzimmer lässt sich zu einem Doppelbett ausziehen.

Die Matratze war für underen Geschmack ein wenig weich.

The apartment has a wonderful location, just a few steps from the lake, perfect for relaxing walks and enjoying the view. This was not our first trip to Lake Como, and we chose Lenno again because it’s one of the most peaceful and charming places in the area. There are many free parking spots nearby, and many nice bars and restaurants within easy walking distance. Lenno ferry station is also just about 5 minutes away, which is very convenient. The apartment itself is spacious, comfortable, with everything you need for a pleasant stay. The host Maurizio is very kind and helpful, always quick to respond and happy to share useful tips and information.

It is not about “what we do not like”, it is just the info to pay an attention. The apartment we rented was on the ground floor, so there is not much natural light ( it can be a very good point in hot summer days) . You can hear some river noise in the kitchen/living room, which could be a problem if you are a light sleeper.

Super propre, récemment rénové, super vue vers le lac de Côme, près de la villa Balbianello et Carlotta!
