Es war alles so wie auf den Fotos. Sehr freundliche und hilfsbereite Gastgeber.

Close to the beach, spacious. The sheets were clean and so was the bathroom - very clean (the showe is a little bit small)

The towels were clean, but they had stains. When I told the host to change them, she got mad (but she brought us other towels). Also the bathroom was clean, but small. There were a lot of mosquitos, bring with you some protection cream!

Host and family were very friendly and it felt like a home from home. The accommodation is on a plot of land which is a small holding with other properties on the same plot with the family, who work the land and did so whilst we stayed there, which we enjoyed seeing from up on our veranda. The property is tucked away from the main shoreline but with easy access and is only a short walk away. It would suit couples that like to retreat a bit more into their own space and use as a base and maybe explore further using a car. We are going back and hope to keep visiting, so that says all it needs to say, we loved it. Everything was fabulous with loads of space for a couple .... we used the kitchen and cooking facilities a lot.

My partner likes thicker bed covers and found that she would have preferred a more conventional duvet rather than sheets and a blanket; I am happy with light covers, but we took extra bedding from the other bedroom to make things work better for each of us. I would suggest that the kitchen, although fairly large, may lack preparation space for preparing larger cooked meals when staying as a 4 person party across the 2 bedrooms, but it was fine for just the two of us, we cook a lot and it is perfectly adequate for two ... for larger groups it will not be a problem if you are mainly eating out or just using kitchen table to prepare salads etc. Not modern but we loved that too.
