No WiFi in spring

What is good here, is the location in the town of Piran. The apartment is a few steps from the Pervomajskij Trg (May 1 Sq.) slightly behind the Rostelin restaurant, i.e. in the very heart of the old town, but still very quiet. There is a terrace directly next to the upper bedroom with a nice view to the rooftops around. The three separate bedrooms with full-sized standard beds (no sofas) is a big plus too, if you travel with your family or friends. If you want, there is almost everything you need - from the wash machine and an iron through the owner's shampoo to a set of wrenches and box of screws. But read the downsides, too. Definitely will not return here. In comparison with other apartments in Piran, this is "as-is" accomodation with no visible effort from the owner's side. The apartment is rather an older, tired AirBnB flat than a "romantic" apartment as advertised. First, there is absolutely no label or sign outside except the house number and the key box is provided not at the facade but just next to the apartment door in the 3rd floor. Even there is no sign... So you have to go upstairs and check the code at the key box first to verify you are in the right building... Weird. Second - in fact, it's rather someone's summer apartment than a hotel-style accommodation. You have to accept it - someone uses it and you are not a guest but a temporary user of someone other's things. For example, there is almost no free space available for your own clothes - every cabinet is already full with something. Also the photos are much better looking than what you get. Lot of things need refurbishing or at least a repair. The sofa is tired. One window can't be closed (loose hinge). The mosquito nets are tired and don't reach from one side of the window to another. And need deep cleaning, too. The bathroom is quite cramped with things and looks a bit used. The stairs to the upper bedroom and terrace have no handrail and is quite steep, no fun to use it. The light at the terrace is faulty. And many other small pains... There is no wifi available - in fact, you'll get a 5G/LTE wifi modem, well, but with no credit and the owner says you shall go out to buy a credit in the kiosk or at a post office. For that money he is asking? Sorry... Also note, there is no TV nor the microwave oven available. Simply - we were expecting much more.

Excellent location - shops, restaurants and beach nearby, yet very quiet. All necessary items available. The owners are extremely responsive. Lovely terrace. Very convenient for a family of four or five ( but probably not for small kids).
