Acogedor duplex a 15min de Marbella

This was our second stay here. Our daughter lives nearby so we have now tried most of the local accommodation options and prefer this one. The apartment is spacious, comfortable and very well equipped. Daniel, the owner, communicates well and is friendly and helpful. He provides essentials, such as shower gel, shampoo and a few toilet rolls. It is easy to dry washing quickly on the roof terrace. I was able to cook easily in the kitchen, which is not always the case in holiday lets. There are several small shops in Monda. Bar Luna is great for meals and there are several bars for drinks. There is a bus to Marbella for under 3 euros. You can see the Castillo de Monda from just outside the apartment.

Nothing, but you do need to be quite fit to walk up the hill. However, this is the case in Monda and nearby Guaro, since they are both hilly.

Very clean and had everything we needed. Very easy to walk around the town. We will definitely stay here again.

Good location and nice owner; easy to communicate with

Terrible smell in the Apartment. According the owner due to smoking of previous renters. Made us try to stay out as long as possible.

We liked the layout and the decor. Everything was very clean and there were plenty of towels. The view from the rooftop terrace was lovely. The apartment is conveniently placed for walking down to Monda, although you do need to be quite fit and healthy because the streets are quite steep on the return journey. There are two mini supermarkets within a five or ten minute walk.

I would have liked a hairdryer, but this was a minor detail. Everything else was great.

Airy, large, quaint and comfortable apartment, with warm and welcoming hosts who spent quality time sharing useful information. Daniel happily allowed us an early check in and late check out due to our flight times. The pictures featured on Booking.com do not do justice to the spectacular views and atmosphere here. Quiet neighbourhood away from the bustle of the town centre yet only an 8 minute walk away from it all. Magical starry skies at night from the roof top. After staying in a modern apartment in Marbella, this experience at Acogedor duplex was truly an authentic taste of village living in southern Spain.

The only suggestion I would give would be an upgrade in the quality of sheets and the provision of a new coffee press along with some coffee mugs and a garlic press. If you're not renting a car there are some steep hills to climb.
