Wir hatten sonnige, entspannte Tage am Lago Maggiore. Das Apartment gehört zu einem um einen Hof gruppierten Ensemble historischer Gebäude. Es ist dort sehr ruhig und schön. Das Apartment wurde sehr geschmackvoll auf ein modernes Level gebracht. Es gibt zwei Eingänge, fast kann man von zwei Wohneinheiten sprechen, mit jeweils eigenem Bad mit kräftigen Duschen, in der Mitte die Küche mit allem Notwendigen und mehr. Die Fenster sind neu, es ist daher schön ruhig. Die Gastgeberin Laura ist überaus freundlich und steht mit Rat und Tat immer zur Verfügung, ganz großartig! Der berühmte Markt von Luino ist nur wenige Schritte entfernt. Mit dem Schiff erreicht man von Luino alle Sehenswürdigkeiten des Lago. Also: unbedingt empfehlenswert!

The appartment is perfectly located in the historic center of Luino. It is exceptionally well designed and Laura is a very friendly and supportive host.

Nicely renovated house in a courtyard in the old town, super easy to get to anywhere on foot due to the central location. e.g. excellent sicilian bakery 2-3 mins, ship station 5 mins. Very quiet except for the occasional car driving through the old town. Quiet at night too. That said there are plenty of places nearby. Owner was friendly and helpful.

Nowhere to sit outside or furniture provided to do so. Luino itself doesn't seem to have any Lido/Badi/Beach areas which is a shame as they have a wonderful walk along the lake front, though the same can probably be said for many towns on the lake. Obviously this does not relate to the property itself and will be true wherever you stay in Luino. We did manage to do some SUP though, launching from the old harbour right next to the ship station.
