"Lovely stay with Pirna as the base for hiking parts of Malerweg"

Super view over the Pirna. Very good communication before arrival, and very helpful staff on arrival. It is not a fancy apartment, but still very comfortable. Cafe and Biergarten right outside. It is a few minutes walk downhill to the marketplace, where there is a really good breakfast restaurant Canaletto, this is highly recommended.

The good view from up the hill also means you are in level with the church bells, which can wake you up a bit earlier than you want to. There is quite a number of stairs, so it is a good place for hikers.
