Cedofeita Charming Flat

Highly recommend this apartment. There are all necessary things for long term and short term stay. It is located in nice area with shops, restaurants near city centre. Also I am very thankful to Sara for her warm welcome and advices. I will definitely come back next year.

El apartamento nuevo, muy limpio, acogedor y decorado con gusto. Igual que las fotos. La ubicación es perfecta, una calle peatonal con tiendas, restaurantes, supermercado, etc muy cerca del centro pero tranquila y sin la masificación de la zona mas turística. Marta, que nos recibió al llegar, fue muy amable, nos explicó todo muy bien y estuvo disponible cuando necesitamos consultar. Valoramos la flexibilidad para dejar las maletas el día de la llegada y la salida.

No hubo nada destacable, por decir algo, la puerta del portal se atascaba un poco al girar la llave y costaba abrir, había que cogerle el truco.

Fijn appartement in een gerenoveerd pand. Het ligt in een toffe, veilige buurt in het centrum van Porto met veel restaurantjes en ontbijtplekjes op loopafstand. Er is een klein terrasje aan de achterkant met veel zon. Onze host gaf ons enorm veel bruikbare tips en interessante info over Porto. Eigen tips: lekker ontbijten bij Comum, LM Art, Rosí en The Terrace, allemaal op max. drie minuten lopen. Lekker eten bij Popina, Puro 4050, Lapa Lapa (Praia do Molhe), Local Food Experience. Loop ook eens verder de Rua de Cedofeita in, daar zijn nog een paar restaurantjes die we te laat ontdekten.

De douche en terrasstoelen hebben wat aandacht nodig :)

The person who greeted us was very helpful. She even allowed us to check in early. She also gave us a map and recommendations. The location was very good, close to the city center. The street is safe and quiet with a supermarket a 5 minute walk away. Apartment and building are clean and the bed was comfortable. The air-conditioning and washing machine nice were to have.

The kitchen is not as well stocked with cooking equipment as we would have liked. Altough there were enough plates and bowls, there was just 3 small pans, 3 mugs. Appliances had no instructions and we had to use YouTube videos to figure things out. We would have liked having a clothes line to washed hang clothes. Only a small 3ftx1ft hanger was provided which had some rust. The balcony was very small. Departing instructions were not totally clear.

Great location, comfortable bed, good amenities. The only downside was the horrible sofa. It doubles as kind of a futon but slanted you off the couch and is too low for anyone over 3ft tall to comfortably sit. Otherwise we would have given a 10. Our host who greater us was very helpful with suggestions.
