No Porto

Antonio is the best host we have ever met! He went far and beyond to make our arrival and our stay pleasant, taking care of every little detail (even prepared a light dinner for us and served it with local wine on our arrival!!). As for the apartment, it is exactly like the photos, with all the amenities, in a very lively and beautiful neighbourhood, only a few minutes walk from Sao Bento metro and train station, which made our arrival from the airport and all our day trips around Porto super easy. Moreover, the Cathedral, the old iron bridge and the famous Ribeira district were also only a few minutes walk from the apartment.

Antonio is an excellent host and I could not give a higher rating. Despite our late check-in time, he made it a point to wait up for us and personally greet us. I was especially touched that he had prepared soup and croutons for us. He also showed us where to go, gave us tips and recommendations and checked in via WhatsApp from time to time to make sure we were enjoying ourselves. His hospitality and communication are truly impeccable. His studio apartment is clean, very organised and had everything we absolutely needed, including cooking and cleaning equipment, hairdryer, iron, a wide range of organic teas, and reading material. The location was perfect! Just a couple of minutes walk from Sao Bento train Station and the Porto cathedral. A supermarket and laundromat are only a few steps away. The unit is on the 1st floor so just a short walk up and the stairs are wide. There is no AC but the unit was cool enough with the fan (we travelled in May). Although Rua de Flores is a very vibrant street, the double-glazed windows blocked out any sounds from outside.

The water pressure was a bit low but manageable.

Wspaniała lokalizacja. Wszędzie bardzo blisko, można dojść na piechotę. Gospodarz bardzo miły i pomocny. Czekał na nas do późna i przywitał nas z uśmiechem na twarzy, gorącą zupą dyniową oraz lampką wina. Można go pytać o wszystko. Zawsze chętnie służy pomocą. Studio dosyć duże, na pierwszym piętrze, dobrze wyposażone. Wygodne łóżka. Wszystko na plus.

Emplacement idéal pour cet appartement de qualité. Cuisine très fonctionnelle et hôte très sympathique. Vraiment super. Proche de la gare, city market juste à côté, tés bon restaurant juste en dessous (Cozinha dos Lóios), proche rues piétonnes mais sans le bruit.

Location was excellent, right in the heart of the old town. Kitchen was very convenient with very well equipped.

Building entrance and stairway and facilities were too dark. More lighting was needed throughout. Apartment felt dark and dreary and was damp with humidity. Stairway was somewhat dangerous to use due to very low level of lighting.

Location was fantastic. Despite being in a very busy area the apartment was very quiet.

L'appartement est parfaitement situé au cœur de la ville. C'est très calme et tes propre. Antonio nous a accueilli avec un grand sourire, des recommandations de restaurants et de petites attentions à déguster. Nous avons pu laisser nos sacs dans l'appartement le jour du départ pour profiter une dernière fois de la ville sans avoir à les porter. L"appartement a tout ce qu'il faut pour passer un bon séjour. Tout était parfait ❤️.

The location was excellent and everything worked well.

The shower pressure was quite poor and it was difficult to wash my hair. Also a bigger mirror in the room or hallway would be a good improvement.
