Dream Modern House

The place was not clean when we first came but the host immediately had the place cleaned after we feedback to him the condition of the place.

Philippe es una persona muy atenta, estuvo en todo momento pendiente de nuestra llegada. La casa es muy acogedora, con todos los electrodomésticos y dos baños. Hemos estado genial

La lámpara del salón, está demasiado bajita y nos dimos alguna vez

Espacio adecuado para las 6 personas que fuimos. Nos vino fenomenal que hubiera dos baños

El menaje y material para cocinar era un poco escaso. Faltaba algún armario para ropa

It was big and it has everything we needed for our stay.

We thought that could walk to Porto’s main landmarks and points of interest but it’s too far for that. We didn’t like the missing wall hooks for both bathroom’s hose showers and its deficient cleanliness.

The area is really nice with a small and well-equipped supermarket a few meters away. If you like walking, it is walking distance to the beach area. The place looks good inside, nice touches in decor but it is like a plaster over a wound.

The parking the advertise is a ruse to get you to book, there are SOME parking available, in the 3 days that we stayed there, we could never find a spot and ended up getting a parking ticket. The kitchen is under kitted. Simple things needed to cook with was simply not there, not enough plates and bowl for the amount of people it can host. There were so many things broken in the apartment, the one shower head was broken, the door to the dishwasher was broken, causing it to leak and not properly cleaning the dishes. some of the chairs by the dining table is so unstable we couldn't sit on it. The only full length mirror is in one of the rooms, which is an inconvenience if you are friends staying together. The one bedroom walks through the other bedroom, fine for children / family, but again, awkward if you are friends in the group.

SUPER comfortable beds, probably the best mattresses we've slept on at hotel/apartment. Clean bedsheets and towels, we had everything we needed. Two toilets with showers were perfect for our group. There is a supermarket super close to the apartment. Also, we could bring our dog!

A bit far from the city centre, but not too much. You get there in 10 min with an Uber (but traffic has usually been quite bad so it ended up taking us longer).
