Invicta house Boavista

Position, close to “Casa da Music”. Every relevant place reachable by public transportation, metro station is 5 minutes on foot from the apartment.

The building where the apartment is located is a bit dilapidated. Noisy neighbors.

The apartment is nicely located near metro station and plenty of cafes and restaurantes around. Very practical check-in and check-out. A box outside the apartment has the key and you just pick it up or leave it at the end.

Overall it allowed us to stay in Porto, but it was not a comfortable stay. It would be nice to have some hangers on the bathroom door or wall to put clothes or towels. Floor very slippery and slimy which I think is due to too much detergent used. The bed room doesnt look like the photos on this site. If you stay here be prepared for a simple place to sleep. New matress is needed and a simple paint job on the walls!

Good position

The pics of the place are taken in the apartment but they do not represent the state of it truthfully. It looks 4* but it's 1-2* imho. Not well kept apartment (stained/ruined walls everywhere; window of the bedroom is not sealed (see pic) so constant air blowing through and no sound insulation at all; even the paper sheet on which the apartment rules are written on is stained, ripped thus difficult to read) Lack of basic things (no ventilation/window in the bathroom so moisture and smell don't easily go away; mattress and pillows are ultra-uncomfortable; overall sound insulation is non-existant) Funny: they left two capsules for the coffee machine which do not fit in so no coffee the first morning LMAO Overall it allowed us to stay in Porto but it was not a comfortable stay. The biggest problem was the poor sound insulation. During the first night a very loud fan started right outside the apartment at 5 a.m., which completely ruined our sleep. We had to buy earplugs at the nearest mall in order to sleep the following nights. Would NOT recommend this place.
