GET a Cactus and Books studio

Property has a wonderful location, was easy to find, and it is a clean and modern apartment. Host is extremely nice and communicative

The loft where the bed is gets extremely warm, and we were only here in the beginning of May, and the AC unit in the living barely did anything to cool the loft. The sofa absolutely should not be considered a second bed. It is tiny, uncomfortable, and has cigarette burns in it. The only extra blankets given for this second “bed” was a blanket on the sofa to hide the cigarette holes. The apartment says “allergy free” but clearly there were cats here because they are the only thing I’m allergic to and my allergies were crazy. Confirmed by the smell of cat pee on the sofa “bed”. There were no extra linens for the sofa “bed”.

The apartment is located on the ground floor at the back of the garage so the car is close by; the door was a bit difficult to open from the outside, but once we were in, the apartment looked fine to me.

Now, that was until I decided to go on an errand and took the keys with me so I could get back in. While I was gone, my husband needed something from the car and he realized he could not get out and was trapped inside! There is no handle on the main door, so without the keys you cannot go out. This is extremely dangerous in case of an emergency or a fire and you cannot locate the keys!!! This is TOTALLY UNSAFE. Then the next day I wake up to find ants crawling all over the kitchen counter and the shower wall. The manager first said “this never happened before”, then "you are at garden level", then "the cleaning person said you left food on the countertop". Basically implying this was my fault. We skipped the last night we had booked. UNSAFE AND UNHEALTHY AVOID!!!!

Cool little apartment and so close to everything. Loved the decor, enjoyed cooking in the well equipped kitchen, nice to chill in the lounge area and private courtyard after exploring Porto. Great communication. Thank you

Parking was great, literally at your doorstep! However, entering the driveway could be anxiety-inducing for less experienced drivers as the road is rather narrow and at times traffic is rather busy.

It could be cleaner.

the studio is very close to many attractions and sights. it only takes 15 minutes to walk to the Ribeira. there are also a lot of restaurants and bars around the studio so one doesn’t need to go far if really hungry! Elsa the host was really nice - she helped us check in and showed us the studio. the studio is build in the back of the parking garage which we found very interesting and smart. it was quiet there and one only notices the garage when sitting on the terrace. the entry for the parking is a little bit narrow for cars but manageable. one should be a comfortable driver!

nice and special location. parking is really narrow but a bigger parking lot was supplied, really nice!

The property is very well located and also very quiet, very cozy.

The storage water heater supplies a limited quantity of hot water, not enough to take two showers.
