Beautiful building, excellent position opposite a lovely park and bus stop.

It was advertised as having a lift and being wheelchair accessible. But it was up 12 stairs from the lift, on a spiral stair case! The duvet was lumpy feathers and thin [so it can’t have been laundered and i’m allergic to feathers] The first night i slept under a pile of towels and covers and was cold. The replacement thin cover , [when someone could reach it down the next day from its high position] smelled of fag smoke. It was advertised as having a socket by the bed but that socket had 3 of his devices should have plugged in to the one wall socket , so no socket for my stuff. The other room had no accessible socket even for a bedside light.. They eventually brought extension leads, [so we had to wait in as no arrival time given] and said a previous tennant 2 back had taken them, but they’d not replaced them. Lots of exceedingly tatty notices telling us to not wear shoes etc, but no instruction leaflets for the equipment. Salt in the sugar bowl. Kitchen Tap falling off and rocking about and window and door latch also floppy. The full [repaired] rack of drying sheets and towels was so tightly laden it wouldn’t dry and i eventually folded [their / flats] washing 2 days into our stay. With a bit of care this apartment would be wonderful. But even if fixed up it isn’t accessible by lift or by a wheelchair.
