Good scenery

Inconvenient, pool table is not well maintained and do not have full set of balls, picture looks quite far from expectation, the address specified is not correct - large cars will not want to drive in due to the sharp corner turn, dirty (found few dead cockroach), bed is difficult to sleep on (very hard)

Staff / Manager / Owner was helpful over WhatsApp and replied promptly. This liaison spoke good English.

Homestay was far from city centre, about a 15 minites walk downhill (uphill if going back to Homestay). The actual Homestay house was not as displayed in the pictures at all. Was a small hut in the middle of nowhere with 2 bedrooms, beds hard as rock, and no electrical heating. However it was somewhat cosy, and would be a good option for those riding motorbike.

Very nice view out at the mountain Can see the train that take you upto to fansipan car park Was close to town, had a little shortcut at the back of property that takes you close to the city. Comfy bed even though we just had mattresses on the floor

This place is potentially good but falls short for a few reasons. The view could be good if it isn’t cloudy. The main “villa” is not quite finished and part of an unfinished development and difficult to locate. The experience was ruined for us by the misleading photos and the strange attitude of the hosts that led to an embarrassing Fawlty Towers style late night mixup.

It turns out there are two properties for rent and the misleading photography on the site had us thinking we’d booked the bigger property. The hosts did not check us in correctly on arrival and so we did not discover this until we return late at night to discover the hosts had decided to move our belongings out for another family. They tried to push us into the smaller property, down a narrow cliff side path by torchlight but we left with our young family for somewhere better, east to find. I don’t know if this was a bait and switch but I do know the fawlty towers scenes could have been avoided with a proper check in when we arrived. Also they managed to keep my sons football during their handling of our property despite our careful checks of passports / electronics. Be wary of this lot!

Great view! This is the best view i have ever had. In a clear day you can see Fasipan. It is close to the center but we feel ourselves like being in suburbs.
