Apartment Herc

The place was in a quiet street. There was also two really delicious restaurants not even a minute away from the apartment. Spent most of my time walking around the city centre and couldn't get enough of the architecture :). Would highly recommend visiting either alone or with someone!

Loved my stay here more than expected! The place had everything I needed and was clean as well as being located in a quiet neighbourhood in a hidden side street. The owner was very welcoming and made sure we were comfortable with our stay, highly recommend the place!

No hanging stuff for washing clothes drying

This was exceptional - amazing location near old town and the train station. Host was super helpful. House was fully stocked (pads, shampoo, rice, olive oil!) it was amazing. Felt so homely and safe

Whilst a bit poky apartment is comfortable and having a washing machine is a real bonus.

Quite a bit of noise from street or neighbours

Amazing location convenient to the ferry and the main area. Spacious for 2 people. Great amenities for a longer stay eg. fully stocked kitchen, washing machine.

The windows are thin facing an alleyway so you can hear people talking as they come and go, not a big deal for the most part.

Really friendly and nice host, flexible check in and out hours, great location, comfortable beds, spacious place, it was clean. Having a bottle of cold water in the room was absolutely amazing and there were many thoughtful touches such as a body lotion and so on. Facilities. It was very hard to wash our swimming suits as the sink in the bathroom does not have cold water option, there were not enough laundry pins, so we couldn’t wash our towels as we wouldn’t be able to dry them. The shower cabin gets clogged within minutes,so you have to pause while showering and give it time to unclog. We shower with mild water as it was too hot for a warm shower yet there wasn’t enough for the second one to shower, yet the sink only had hot water. Very confusing. No full body mirror but there is plenty of space in the apartment, it’s really spacious. Only 3 hangers for clothes in total, so we had to use chairs, table and door knobs for our dresses. I wish they fix these little flaws so the place is 10/10…. UPDATE: Sadly they texted me on my personal phone Nr with messages full of audacity and rudeness I was pretty shocked as it’s never happened to me. Baffling and unacceptable. I’d strongly suggest booking if you don’t mind being treated like disposable material. No apology but blaming me for giving a bad rate even though I made sure I add all positive things and stay nice even with the things I don’t like. While my beautiful dresses were hanging on door knobs and we had to go out dirty on my birthday, because there was not enough hot water for the second one of us, we don’t stay for free to be called in the messages “unappreciative” and also suggested to not write a review at all. That review is not for your full of audacity business, it’s for future clients. Strong pass. That’s not how you treat customers, but says plenty regardless.

Despite our flight being delayed they were there ready to meet us with a smile!
