Location was central

Old apartment horrible air conditioners.

From inside the place was really nice and close to the old town, just a few minutes walking distance. At backyard there was a small playground for children. Few steps to get to the apartment with strollers but not too bad. Place was clean and comfy.

A lot of small things. There was a laundry machine but no deterrent, we had to go buy ourselves. Kitchen utensils were limited and not very practical, frying pan for instance, really good looking but burnt everything to the pan. More spatulas and stuff like that needed. Coffee was missing, oil was missing. Bathroom could use a small cabinet and glasses for toothbrush, etc. Handrail to upstairs was a bit sketchy. Minor details themselves, but added together a bit of a nuisance.

It is not good to have "one" bedlinen in the master bedroom as it´s not only a couple using that bed. I was there with my friend and it was not convenient for us

Clear instructions from host on how to find the entrance. The host only sends the lockbox code AFTER you've sent in passport details for your party. At first I thought this was shady, but it's required by the Croatian Tourism board. Fast responses from the host. Air conditioning was clutch. Hair dryer in the bathroom worked great. Very close to bakeries and small markets. Easy downhill walk (with luggage) to the port to catch the ferry.

You have to drag your luggage up stairs to reach the entrance. Both bedrooms and the bathroom are upstairs--we opted to leave our luggage in the living room. We knew there would be lots of stairs in Croatia so we traveled light.
