Location to lake

The property was in a fantastic location — close to the lake, with an amazing restaurant just around the corner. It was modern, well equipped, and had everything we needed. We especially loved having a separate dryer, which was a great bonus.

The property could benefit from some updating. The paintwork needs touching up, there were signs of leaking in a few areas that may need attention, and some wallpaper was peeling. When we arrived, a vacuum cleaner had been left on the stairwell and there were a couple of glasses outside, which made it feel as though the cleaning hadn’t quite been finished.

Great location and spacious.

Single beds were very uncomfortable along with pillows. Limited air movement in the 2nd bedroom. A number of the light bulbs were blown. Limited cleaning products for washing up.

Very handy to lake and town. Garage was a bonus. Kitchen was fine and there was plenty of room. OK for a night.

It was very hot and the a/c was noisy and ineffective. No a/c in the kids room, and no exterior windows - quite stuffy. Skylight with no covering in the twin (kids) bedroom - could make for an early start! The bathroom ceiling was mouldy, doors noisy, in general a bit of cleaning and maintenance needed.
