The hosts were very nice and responsive. The apartment had everything I needed for a my stay -- full kitchen, hot water, good bed, etc. It was very centrally located, which was wonderful. I could walk everywhere, no problem.

Noise. The problem is that the apartment is at street level on a very busy street with a lovely stoop that families seemed to congregate, which is nice but noisy.. Also, the apartment building next door is multi level, and people congregated under my bedroom window, waiting to be buzzed in. The other problem is that folks seemed to party late into the night, and I was awakened almost every night at 2:30 and 3:30 am. For 4 nights, I did not get a decent night's sleep.

Very centrally located, right next to the Cathedral. Extremely friendly owners. Next to a very nice Brazilian restaurant +55.

Parking place was 10 min walking distance.

The host and the location. Everything just said "comfortable and convenient". Would stay again and I recommend this for your stay in Viseu.

Property right at city centre where surrounded by historical buildings, museums and restaurants.

The flat was spotlessly clean, equipped with everything I needed, and its location just off the cathedral square could not be bettered. (It deserves a better score than the 8 that Booking has generated for it.)

I was surprised to find that the (ground floor) flat had frosted windows. Had I known this (I don't think it was stated in the description), I would have booked one of the upper floor flats.
