Great location, but poor management.

The upstairs toilet (in the bedroom area) was completely out of order, and the bathroom sink was badly clogged. Despite multiple promises, these issues were never fixed during our entire stay. It was incredibly inconvenient to have to constantly go downstairs just to use the restroom. The check-in process was also poorly handled. The host’s representative met us in person but arrived late, even though we had been in touch all day and arrived exactly on time. To make matters worse, once he finally showed up, he started inspecting the apartment's cleanliness and checking the appliances and plumbing right in front of us. When you're exhausted after a long journey, the last thing you want to do is wait around for a routine inspection. It makes no sense why this couldn't have been done 30 minutes before our arrival. Furthermore, the inspection itself turned out to be completely pointless, as the issues with the sink and toilet were never resolved. The representative promised to send someone to fix them, and we even sent a reminder, but he simply ghosted us and never bothered to follow up.

The apartment was perfect. After having to re-locate properties from another, problematic booking at short notice, the hosts at Cardosas Town Apartment were superb. Bernardo was excellent, meeting us first thing in the morning shortly after we made the booking to hand us the keys and show us the apartment. The location is fantastic - very central. The apartment was clean, a great size and layout, with welcome balconies. The bedroom's air conditioning was a relief after a hot day exploring Porto. We loved our stay here and would highly recommend it.

Apartamento muito bem decorado, espaçoso (2 andares) e bem equipado. Localização excelente e vista bem legal.

Como a maioria dos apartamento que ficam dentro dos centros históricos, o prédio não tem elevador e o apartamento era no quarto andar, fora a garagem (que é reservada à parte). Com isso, temos que subir as escadas com as malas. Também houve um desencontro de informações a respeito do checkin: o apartamento está liberado para checkin a partir das 15h, mas eu tinha agendado para as 18h. Porém, tive um passeio cancelado por conta do mau tempo e eu alterei o horário de chagada para as 15h no dia anterior. O pedido foi aprovado pelo Booking. Porém, no dia seguinte recebi um WhatsApp de um rapaz dizendo que me encontraria às 18h no apartamento. Eu respondi que estaria lá às 15h. Ele disse que eu tinha que ver isso com o Booking. Eu disse que já tinha solicitado e tinha sido aceito. Ele não me respondeu mais e eu tive que ficar na rua enrolando. Então por volta das 17h outra pessoa entrou em contato dizendo que estava me esperando no apartamento desde as 15h. Enfim, no final deu tudo certo, mas eu fiquei na rua por 2h e a pessoa me esperando por má comunicação.

Apartamento super limpo, moderno e bem localizado. O anfitrião Yuri está de parabéns pela sua educação/receptividade.

O suporte de parede da ducha estava quebrado. Para tomar banho tinha que ficar segurando a ducha na mão. A internet caía toda hora

Great location, right on top of Sao Bento. Currently (Sep 2023) they are digging a new metro line and there is a lot of construction noise. Despite this, the location of the property and its views overcome the noise. I would 100% re-book this property. Comfortable lounge and bed, washing machine and a proper kitchen. Also it’s managed by Pedro Silva so you’re in great, local hands.
