Mansion Chalatsopoulos

We stayed for just one night. A huge advantage of the property is the stunning view of Volos. Well-equipped terrace allowes you to enjoy the view. Additionally, the apartment was clean, adequately equipped with appliances, including the kitchenware. Air conditioning was available in every room.

I had a major issue with communicating with the owner, who wasn't present on-site. Before I could reach them, I stood by the gate for quite a while, ringing nervosly on different provided numbers, worried that I might end up sleeping in my car. The parking area is quite small. I struggled to maneuver my van in and out. Parking maneuvers were made more difficult by sprinklers wetting the windows. Breakfast consisted of just some toast bread, packaged ham and cheese, some spreads, some crispy snacks... and that's it. I was disappointed because it was just enough for 3 big guys. Similarly, I was let down by the bed arrangement. I had to sleep on a bunk bed despite the description also mentioning regular double beds in both bedrooms. Additionally, there was a lack of bedding and even a pillow for one person from our group. The absence of the owner on-site prevented a swift response. In summary, the property is nice and modern, however, discrepancies in the description can lead to inconveniences. I believe it's perfect for families with children (2+2), but not suitable for 4 adults.

Beautiful view of Volos.

We had a long walk to town, so you need a car or hire a taxi. The breakfast was not good.

‘Sorry’ to give all a 10 but actually it was. A very luxury appt with extreme view over Volos. Nice and prompt English communication. We’ve chooses this place because of the surroundings all easy accessible without the Volos traffic. Volos is a very touristic and busy place where we just been once at Harbour front. Although it was May it is very nice and touristic and hectic. We’ve found a very nice Greek authentic restaurant to meet the Greek way of noisy live. The rest of our 5 days stay we spent discovering the nature and other lovely places like Afissos, the beautiful Pileon balcony village Makrinitsa and a lot more highlights of our holiday.

Everything was perfect!

Apartments were spacious, more than fully equipped, cozy, clean, well-insulated and heated.

Breakfast provided was extremely poor. Choose to utilize fully equipped kitchen to prepare breakfast to your taste.
