Kindest hosts and beautiful terrace

Rustig gelegen appartement in Risan. Heel fijn om een wasmachine te hebben. Mooi terras.

Het terras is vooral erg geschikt met warm weer, er is nauwelijks zon op het terras. Dat is heerlijk met warm weer, maar niet als het wat koeler is. Het appartement is erg laag, vooral de afdak bij de deur was een "hoofdstoter". Minder geschikt voor lange mensen.

Wir wurden sehr warmherzig empfangen. Das kleine Studio ist super gemütlich und mit allem, was man braucht ausgestattet. Wir haben uns wie zu Hause gefühlt. Der Ort Risan ist sehr schön gelegen und ein guter Ausgangspunkt für Wanderungen. Vielen Dank Anke und James für die schöne Zeit, die wir bei euch hatten.

James and Anke are a fabulous and charming couple who have a perfect apartment with any thing, any detail you would need. They received us with their own handmade marmalade, local wine and some fruits. The apartment is full equipped and the place is quite, not in the road around the bay, a perfect place to explore Kotor bay. Totally recommended.

Everything is perfect

Als erstes sind die sympathischen und hilfsbereiten Gastgeber zu erwähnen. Sie haben uns viele Ausflugstipps und Informationen über Land und Leute gegeben. Es war sehr interessant sich mit ihnen zu unterhalten. Die Unterkunft liegt etwas oberhalb des Ortes wo es angenehm ruhig ist und sie ist mit allem ausgestattet was man benötigt. Auf der blumenumrankten Terasse kann man wunderbar entspannen. Alles in der Wohnung ist genau durchdacht, es fehlt an nichts. Vielen Dank für die schöne Zeit!

Da gibt es nichts

This wonderful studio was our lucky find in Montenegro! It’s in a quiet, easily accessible by car location. Pristinely clean, and equipped with all desired amenities such as an air-conditioner and a washing machine. Owners put a lot of thought into it, there are beautiful coasters for cups and plates, books for every taste, Montenegro guides, instructions for how to use a washing machine, etc. When we arrived, we found fruits, bread, cheese and wine left for us, and enough food to make a supper and a breakfast. Anke grows kiwis on the front terrace and makes most delicious marmalade and chutney from home-grown fruits. Hospitality of the owners is unparalleled, we were supported every step of the way crossing the border from Croatia. We will fondly remember our stay here.

Nothing

Great stay at Anke and James's place. We found everything you could need and more. Upon arrival, spring water, butter, fresh eggs from the market, vegetables were waiting in the fridge, and wine, fruit, freshly baked bread were on the table. There are even mosquito repellents (very useful, mosquitoes attack). Although the studio is not big, everything is thought out to the smallest detail - everything can be needed and more. The terrace is large, planted, with shade, very comfortable beds, shower. After going down (the hill is steep), there is a grocery store right away, which is open even until 11:00 p.m. (closed on Sundays) and Roman mosaics. The hosts are wonderful, warm and very caring, you feel like family. Thank you for a wonderful stay and we wish you a beautiful summer and great success. 🤗 Vaida, Rimvydas and Joris 💓

Everything is great, but it's quite a steep long hill to the apartments, it may not be suitable for older people and people with mobility problems - you need physical endurance, especially when it's hot. It is possible by car, but the road is not convenient - a hill with turns, it is difficult to pass.

Eco House Risan is for sure THE BEST accomodation in Montenegro. You have a very comfortable, clean and well equipped apartment (even a toster in the kitchen! ) and a beautiful terrace with sunbeds, grill and shower (!). Besides we found a nice "welcome pack" - some eggs, bread, butter, home made jam and a bottle of wine. Thank You - Anke and James!
