Lote Apartment

Clean, spacious, large TV and in a great location. Norman’s assistant was very welcoming and ensured we knew where everything was. There was no drama with the deposit and we overall had a fantastic stay.

Convenient, clean, nicely designed ground floor apartment in a secure gated courtyard. It suited our group of three very well. A pleasant environment to have breakfast and a cup of tea when we returned. It was tea, we're Irish! Norman is a friendly helpful man, his offer of a lift to the airport was greatfully accepted. We walked a lot in Riga, 15 minutes or so to the Railway Station and say 20 to the Old Town. Tbilisi Restaurant (Georgian) is only 4 mins on foot and Bella Napoli (Italian).10 -12 mins. For Latvian food, we stayed closer to city centre. Oh yes, there are a few convenience shops within easy walking distance of Lote Apartment. Public transport (buses and trams) also easily accessible. Weather in Riga was fresh, occasionally chilly but the apartment was always warm!

A frosted glass partition separated the main bedroom from the hallway to bedroom No 2. Not ideal from a privacy point of view.

The apartment was really appropriate for 6 people, there were plenty of dishes and linens available

Unfortunately there were complications at check-in which left a not very positive vibe to the trip. Some dishes were not fully washed and one sofa was partially broken, which made it not very comfortable for one person to sleep. Also that room that closes on the glass door turns into a greenhouse, so it was quite hot to sleep in.

The location is perfect and the host is very friendly. It's a closed quiet yard with several parking spots. This flat is perfect for 4-5 people to stay.

It was a bit cold at this time in Riga and some parts of the apartment were cold as well, such as toilet and one of the bedrooms. It's common for Baltic countries, but be advised not to get cold.
