The apartment was exactly as shown in the photos and spotlessly clean, which made a very good first impression. The location is absolutely perfect for exploring Siena – you are right in the center of everything. That said, it is important to mention that there is a bar and a restaurant just below the apartment, so during the night it can be noisy, almost as if people are standing right outside your door. For light sleepers this could be a problem, but for us it was not an issue, as we specifically wanted to stay in this lively part of town. Parking is not included and costs about €70 for two days in a nearby garage. This was probably my own misunderstanding when reading the listing, but I want to note it here so future guests are aware. The staff at the garage were very polite and helpful, which made things easier. We were delayed on our way to Siena and unfortunately forgot to inform the owner. Because of this, he was very strict with us and said if we did not arrive by 7 PM (which is usually checkout time), we would not be allowed to enter. I also found his communication a little unfriendly, as when I asked again about the check-in process, he simply replied that he had already written it. However, the man who actually welcomed us at the apartment was very polite, and overall the check-in worked out fine in the end. The only real downside during our stay was the Wi-Fi. It was too weak to even load a simple YouTube video. I informed the owner about this on the second night but unfortunately did not get a response. Overall, the apartment itself is excellent: clean, central, and true to the photos. The location is unbeatable for those who want to be in the heart of Siena, but be aware of the noise, the paid parking, and the owner’s very strict approach to communication. These things did not ruin our stay, and we still give it a very positive rating because of how much we enjoyed the apartment and the location.

We had 4 people and there was plenty of space. The kitchen was well-appointed and we appreciated having a washer/dryer. The location was very convenient. We could walk to great restaurants, shops and historical sites. The space was furnished nicely and was very up-to-date.

Getting to the parking was somewhat challenging thought the host really tried to make it as convenient as possible.

The location is absolutely brilliant and central! Our host met us very quickly to hand us the keys. He was also available to answer questions and when we needed a taxi back to Florence, he found an excellent driver. The apartment was comfortable and had plenty of personality. It includes two bedrooms (both comfortable), two bathrooms (one of which had a terrific shower and the other a lovely, soaking bath), a kitchen (which was important because we wanted to visit markets and do some of our own cooking), and was somewhat quiet at night (this is in a central part of the city and noise is inevitable). A very good restaurant is steps away on the corner. TL:DR: Central, convenient location Timely and knowledgable host 2 bedrooms 2 bathrooms Plenty of personality

This is nitpicking, but more comfortable chairs in the living space would be nice. After a day of good food and wonderful experiences, we would sit around the kitchen able to talk about it. It would be nice to have a comfortable living room space.
