Die Dachterrasse ist wirklich ein Traum, da steigt man gerne die fünf Stockwerke hoch.

Quelle terrasse ! La vue sur Sienne et la campagne environnante est exceptionnelle. L'appartement est de plus parfaitement situé, bien équipé et très propre. Les informations pour accéder à l'appartement étaient claires et la propriétaire s'est montrée arrangeante au moment du départ, ce qui nous a permis d'assister à l'entrainement du Palio.

On s'était préparé pour les marches, qui n'ont pas été un problème. Le parking le plus proche est un peu cher (23€/24h) mais c'est le prix d'une ville très touristique.

Je zit echt in het centrum en hebt een prachtig uitzicht over de stad. Ook zijn alle bezienswaardigheden af te lopen. Het appartement zelf is van alle gebakken voorzien. Een goed bed op de bovenste verdieping. Daar onder een sofa voor 2 personen. Ieder een eigen badkamer. De host neemt je goed mee bij alles en heet je welkom

Het was ondanks de airco warm binnen.

Apartment has everything a family would need. In the middle of everything, so you don't need more than 10 minutes walking to any point of interest, but most important - having a coffee or wine on the f-ing fabulous terrace overlooking Siena, and Tuscan scenery worth every cent!

The terrace views and location is absolutely superb. The views are what kept me staying here as the aspects discussed below I struggled with so would have left of it wasn’t for the fantastic view there’s no where and nothing like it. I can see how this place would appeal to a family as it is huge and gives the space and family experience. The owner was helpful and responsive when we couldn’t work the key in the front door this was an experience sweating after climbing all the stairs but we got in eventually. Overall we enjoyed sitting on the terrace so much we would recommend this property as it offers such an experience however I would not do a long stay here due to amenities mentioned below.

The upper bathroom has a glass roof so it lets in so much heat like a greenhouse so everything is hot to the touch so unusable. The heat from the door when full sun was affecting the room temp. The cleanliness wasn’t up to my standards both the bathrooms need a Reno they are so dated that they don’t look clean when they probs are. There’s also a lot of cobwebs and it’s a huge property so probably quite hard to fully clean in a guest turnover time. I struggled with the layout, we slept on the mezzanine floor but the bathroom that was useable was on the lower floor so constantly had to go up/down the stairs. It felt a bit like I was camping going for a long walk to the bathroom with my toothbrush and shower kit. Aircon was not the best we’ve had, it’s also battling a lot of rising heat, heat from the greenhouse bathroom and heat from the terrace above. I think we got it to 24 degrees lowest and felt successful we also repositioned the bed pillows so we could get some of it blowing on us while we slept - it needs either an additional unit downstairs to compliment or the upper area needs closing off a bit more to contain the cool air - heat sources near the bathroom and terrace stairs and shut off the open stairs to lower floors contain it in.

The views from the rooftop were out of this world. The host was very flexible. The location couldn't be better.
