New, clean, quiet, spacious and perfectly furnished apartment 4-5 metro stations from the center of Sofia. Reserved parking space. Easy entry and exit. Easy grocery shopping in a supermarket with parking.

Unfortunately, taxis do not have a very good reputation in Sofia, and in the absence of Uber, the only recommended solution to get to the city center is the Metro. At first glance, it's simple. Just attach your VISA card, the system will register you and you can enter. That is, unless you have children... One card registers only one person, it will be blocked when you try to make another payment. It took us a while to get the hang of the "trial and error" system and used four different payment cards to get the whole family through. The solution could be to buy a classic ticket if you could pay by card. However, that is not possible. You need cash in local currency, which the present ATM will not issue because it does not recognize a foreign card. Passers-by tried to help us, but without success. In the end, the mentioned solution with four cards worked.

The appointment was clean and spacious. It had everything needed for a comfortable stay for a family. Best shower of all of the places we stayed in Bulgaria! Short walk to the metro. Private parking. Easy communication with the host.

Host is v polite and courteous , answered all our questions and guided on how best to spend 2 days with a good itinerary. thoroughly enjoyed trip though short.
