Desiderata Studio Apartment

Amazing location right in Diocletian's Palace and overlooking the Peristil. It wasn't noisy at all. The apartment was really gorgeous with stone walls, very comfortable, kitchen facilities were good. Vanda's mother met us where our driver dropped us at the market, walked with us to the apartment, carried our luggage up the stairs and showed us around. At checkout she was back again and carried my bag downstairs. The apartment is on the 2nd floor and the stairs are quite steep with minimal landing space. Highly recommend this place.

The hot water ran out one day when I was washing my hair, thank goodness I'd rinsed it off, so we made sure there was a gap between each of us showering.

Apartment is located right in the heart of old town Split on the Cathedral square of Diocletian Palace. It is beautifully presented and well equipped. Our host arranged a taxi pick up from the airport and when dropped in Split we were met by the host’s mother who took us to the apartment making arrival super easy.

Being in the Center of the town had its advantages (proximity to all the sights and bars and restaurants) but also one big disadvantage. The restaurant on the square remained busy and noisy until late every evening (they had live music every evening). On top of this, the cathedral bells chimed from 06.00 every morning and they were very lowed in the apartment.

The location in the heart of the palace was everything! The view and the environment were spectacular.

A bit loud at night be we really didn’t mind. We enjoyed the festive atmosphere.

This is a spacious, well equipped apartment right in the centre of Old Town split. Couldn't have wished for a better location! Our hosts were friendly and super helpful, and very understanding when I accidentally broke something! Loved our stay here and would go back in a heartbeat!

This didn't bother us in the slightest, but being right in the centre, just be aware that it is lively til late at night and the cathedral bells ring from 6am. Also, if you have mobility issues, know there are 2 flights of stairs to navigate to the apartment.

Superb location and easy check-in. The apartment was spotless and beautifully decorated. All kinds of great necessities, ie. lots of spices, oils, toilet paper, up to date cooking utensils and even toothpaste. Amazing

There wasn't anything I didn't like.

The apartment was lovely. It was in old town so really staying in a historical place. Look out onto the temples. It was nice having a kitchen. Nice bathroom. Comfy bed.

Because in historical place the stairs are very narrow and step so be aware. But that's due to. Old building.

A perfect choice for our stay in Split. We were there in early November, so no big crowds or noise. Even if I wanted to, I could not think of a single thing to complain about. Everything was just fabulous. The location is as good as it gets, and the apartment, which is in a beautiful building dating back to the 13th century(!) in the absolute center of the historic old town, was clean and extremely well equipped with everything one could possibly need. We had window facing the beautiful square in front of the Cathedal, and were happy to be very close to the great fruit and veggie market, local supermarket, bakeries, beautiful narrow streets, the "Riva" and inpressive squares with loads of restaurants to choose from. The apartment was clean with comfortable bed and furniture, and extremely well equipped with everything one could possibly need. The host was very friendly and the communication was great with fast and kind answers via Whatsapp. With 20 years of previous experience as a travel industry professional, you can trust that my opinion is valid. But please don't book it for november next year, as I want to come back by then :-)

You can hear bell ring from 6am
