Palace Wall Residences

Perfect location, perfect vibe in the apartment and the medieval building! Everything was excellent! Wish I stayed longer! Thumbs up Richard!!!

There is nothing I disliked!

The location is absolutely perfect - in the city core, walking distance to all important hubs/spots, yet in a very quiet and peaceful alley. Lovely decorated - old style with modern elements, we loved it! It was very clean and smelled really nice when we arrived. The owner was also very friendly and kind to us, seems like a great guy (we had a small lovely chat). We generally enjoyed it and we hope to catch another opportunity to come again to enjoy it again :)

The location of the accommodation was excellent, just a few minutes from all the main landmarks (Diocletian’s Palace, Piazza, the Split Riva).

The first bad impression was that at the scheduled check-in time (3 p.m.), the room hadn’t even started being cleaned or prepared after the previous guests. I had to contact the owner to ask what was going on, and I was told they had problems with another property and would come later. I believe I should have been informed in advance that I wouldn’t be able to enter the room at check-in time, instead of wasting time coming to the accommodation twice. The second issue was that the room had a very strong smell of cigarette smoke. It was stated that the accommodation is 100% non-smoking, but there are no smoke detectors in the room, and I believe some guests take advantage of this. As a non-smoker, it was very unpleasant for me to stay in this space.

The room is adorable small and cozy, the bed ia very comfy, everything was clean. The instructions for the key were also very straightforward. The location is the centre of Split which is wonderful. 10/10
