Pavelin apartments

The host received us and our puppy at the arrival with the keys and showed us around the apartment and gave us advice on some questions we had about the city and visiting around. The apartment was very comfortable and really well located (5 min walking to the Palace or the Port), on an historical building but refurnished on the inside. It had all the required commodities including AC which was much appreciated given the heat in Split.

The only problem with this apartment was the parking as the public places around were not easy to find (you must check around 19h when people are leaving the beach) as it was a very central area and the paid parking just across the street was reeeeally expensive so if you're traveling by car like us just be patient and look around for public places but check the conditions as there's limited time in some.

Smelled a bit funny, no airconditioning in bedroom

Very near the harbour and amenities. Luka is a great at host. He met me at the apartment, proposed a few good eateries and some places to go. I would recommend to anyone staying at Split

Host Luca was excellent. Really friendly, engaged and proactive. Whatsapped early to say hello and to keep updated on travel to the property for him to meet with the keys and answer any questions. Flight was significantly delayed, which made this step extra helpful. Location was perfect. Right next door to a small, friendly tour operator, and yards from the police station which is between the property and the few minutes walk to the very busy centre of Split. Tommy's supermarket 2 min walk away. Ten minute walk to the Shuttle Bus station to the airport. The bedroom was large. Had double glazed, shuttered windows facing onto a lovely courtyard, hence able to keep the room dark and cool without needing the aircon. Iron, standing fan, tv, etc. Kitchen had everything in the right place, and then some. Nice design. Washing machine in the shower/toilet room was super helpful to keep clothes fresh across the stay with no hassle.
