AVOID AVOID AVOID! 18.2C at bedtime and 17.7C in the morning. Outside temperature on this day: -10C (normal winter for Estonia; I was lucky it wasn't -15C or colder...) The place had extra blankets, so I survived the night; however, taking a shower in the morning is only for the fearless. I usually do not leave negative reviews publicly. Things break, and the host will fix them for the next guest. It happens. However, this apartment requires serious renovations. You should avoid it in winter. Why it's not fixable: The only heating is a wood fire heater. The host specifically asks the guests not to heat it themselves (he's correct: people who have never used it should not try). Temporary electric heaters can't be installed (the host said they'd break the circuits). Note: - In all fairness, they offered me a replacement apartment. Quite far, but still a nice gesture. However, it was very late at night, and somehow I was hoping it would get warmer. It was obviously a huge mistake.

Lovely comfy space, different from the average standard rental. Genuinely personal. The host Pavel came around to help with the fireplace and was warm and welcoming but very discrete and unnoticeable.

Beware that due to its really central location, you may hear some bar noise at night.
