Location was outstanding, right on the beach and an easy 10 minute walk into the town centre.

Location couldn't be better right on the beach and a short easy walk along the front or beach into town. Easy secure parking. Very spacious with great views out to sea. Lovely and warm underfloor heating once we sorted it out. Bed was very comfortable. Nice to have two bathrooms, one with a bath , the other with a shower. We really enjoyed our say at Waters Edge, the location was perfect for our dip in the sea at 7am whilst the sun was coming up and then back for a lovely hot shower. Almost perfect.

The Quilt on the bed is in a shocking condition and needs to go straight in the bin. It's clearly been damp or badly washed at sometime. The surface material is stained and the fill has formed into large clumps. The photo of the Quilt against the window shows how bad the fill is. Easily the worst bed cover we've ever come across. Only one bedside lamp, we like one either side, but that's just the way we are. There is a noticeable damp smell when first entering the property, but we couldn't track down where it came from, and after a while we stopped noticing it. We also bought some scented tea lights, a few air fresheners about the place would help no dought. The grout on the lower areas of the shower are quite dirty, the shower itself was great but the grimy look of the grout was a bit offputting. There are no instructions for using the facilities or checking out, it's just a case of trial and error. We arrived during storm Claudia and the place was very cold, we found that the heating had been turned off at the boiler which is located in the room next to the front door. We found that the TV audio had also been disabled, probably by the previous occupants. Gavin the owner was soon able to get it sorted over the phone. The bins along with recycling we found in the space under the main stairs next to Saltys restaurant. A short guide to how everything worked would have been very useful, everywhere else we've stayed had one. The negatives are easy to fix, a bit of elbow grease on that grout, and Gavin, get rid of that quilt. Overall we really did enjoy our stay and would love to come again.

Location absolutely perfect for a beach stay. Added touches of a picnic hamper, cushions and blankets to use on the beach allowed us to make full use of the stunning beaches

Fabulous location , close to town and beach . Having floor length windows and seeing sunset and sunrise in a morning was fabulous .
