It’s not far from the center. Easy atmosphere. Great stay and very pleasant hostess. I especially enjoyed the balcony. It was really private and secluded.

Room was a bit too small but it was ok

The plus It is only 30 minute walk to the main square, or a 5 minute walk then 10 minutes on the bus The sad points It was a little misleading, the advert says The entire place is yours, unfortunately this couldn’t be any further from the truth, You enter through the family front door, you turn up the stairs where there is a family bedroom and a bathroom (shared with others), you the enter a corridor which has a bedroom behind a sliding cupboard door, then there was another bedroom at the end of the corridor and then another bedroom (mine) half way down, the door doesn’t lock from the outside, there was a broken and stained blind, there were things held together with masking tape, the list goes on and on, the family seem to have their own children and I personally felt so uncomfortable,

The friendliness of the hosts and the cleanliness of the rooms. There is a kettle and disposable tableware in the room. You can park your car near the house on the road.

I did not notice any disadvantages in the apartments worthy of description.

The host family is a great couple, very helpful and kind.

Quiet neighborhood, comfortable bed. Little balcony. Big bathroom.

The room is very cramped. In order to get on the balcony you have to squeeze close to the wall as the door is not opening properly due to the table and a small lamp. Speaking of balcony, it was a dead sparrow in it - from the look of it, it was there for quite a while. The bathroom is shared and from the room description is not that clear.

Cute and charmant little room with a small balcony and a very comfortable bed. I am also thankful for the owner to carry my heavy bag up the staircase.

The only negative thing I can think of is that the room didn't have a wardrobe to put my clothes or other things inside. But since I only stayed for one night, I didn't really bother me.

The accomodation is a big house with several stories where a big family lives. You have a tiny room with but one bed and a chess check size table with good wifi and the access to the bathroom everyone in the house uses. The host family, especially the hostess is very flexible regarding arrival times, won't sweat the small stuff if you'll have to arrive later. She is also very friendly and kind. I haven't had a chance to spin yarns with her, but she kindly explain everything and was ready to answer my questions. You may see some practical information in the room about how to get around in Turku and what not.

The quarters house the army of a family and yet two Chihuahuas who are pretty docile and don't yelp heaps. This big mansion is not properly cleaned, neither the place where the hosts live nor your rooms and communal facilities. You see fingerprints on every surface where it can be left, if something is attempted to be wiped clean it still have greasy stripes or an eye-catching film of whatever was on the wipe. The toilet bowl's lower part is all in oozes or something resembling fossilized urine. Carton partition walls between guest rooms don't isolate the sounds so if you would fart loudly a guest in the neighbor room will wake up, so audible that is.

The place is located not very far from the city centre, in a quite, nice residential area. Suitable for solo travellers, for spending one or two nights.

The shared bathroom (not only with other guests but also with other family members) was not always clean. The owners were ok, even though when I first arrived I wasn’t sure to be in the right place. I felt a bit like I was bothering, a weird feeling considering that I was paying for my room. I’m not sure I would like to come back.
