Cool Terrace Apartment

Big, comfortable rooms with high ceilings and a lovely terrace. The apartment kitchen was really well equipped.

Though there is a second toilet in the apartment, it is adjacent to the terrace area.

No breakfast it’s an apartment The only issue was that we couldn’t leave our luggage in reception on our last day as we had 10 hours before our flight we had to use a left luggage facility at the Metro station

Luge

Location is perfect, appartment large, extremely clean, high rooms, kitchen well provided for (equipment-wise). Despite busy street, reasonable noise. Easy checkin, reception of hostel at no. 225, a few steps along the same side of the street.

I kindly asked the gentleman at the hostel reception to allow our luggage to be stored somewhere for 2 hours when we left, as our transportation to Lisabona was at 2 30pm. Explained I was there with my mother, who is 74+, and my two daughters, 12+. Also, myself in the middle of a lower back crisis, on painkillers... I could barely lift light things - and move too much; this was none of their fault, of course, but people can still be human, I believe?! The gentleman strongly refused, did not even listen to what I had to say. He argued 'security reasons' and no space (there was quite a 'balcony' just in front of the entrance to our appartment, whereby only guests to this appartment and another one on the 2nd floor had access - photo attached). And we would have anyway left before the new guests would have arrived, since checkin starts at 3pm... Plus a looooong hallway and a room at the reception itself, groundfloor at no 225. I explained I would take the 'security' risk, he just tried to give me a flyer with lockers at a metro station (but he did not have any left - and anyway it was impossible for me to move our two pieces of luggage to any metro) - and very strongly argued that their website says no holding of luggage. BUT I booked with Booking - and there was no such mention on Booking at any time, not when I booked, not when we left - as I checked again just to see what I had not read... but it was actually no such mention. Too bad the appartment is beautiful, spacious, well located and clean... people do make a difference!

Property is as pictured in the adverts, with many amenities such as shampoo/conditioner and cooking equipment provided!

There wasn’t proper bedding/sheets for the sofa bed which would have made the stay more comfortable.
