Apartamento Felipe V

The check in process was arduous. Having to send photos before getting to the next stage.

Described as s luxury apartment, the bedrooms were beautifully decorated with the exception of no heating in one bedroom and the apartment was very cold when we entered. The patio furniture cushions were piled high on the dining table making it unusable and presumably the owners had nowhere else to put the cushions. The microwave, extractor fan and hotwater throughout the apartment were not working so we were not able to shower on arrival and the hotwater was not working for our entire stay. The location is quiet but you cannot stop with a car to unload luggage at the apartment. The parking has to be reserved in advance and the QR code we were given with instructions did not work. Once in the apartment, we were given the wrong wifi code but eventually this mistake was corrected by the contact person. An attempt was made to fix the hot water whilst we were out but was not successful. We were told however it was fixed and there was no time for a 2nd maintenance visit. We have received no offer of compensation which in today’s market, is ridiculous.

The property makes a charge for single occupancy of a bedroom so even though you pay for a 2 bedroom apartment, a charge of 30euros is made if you are not 2 couples, so 2 single people wanting separate bedrooms means 30€ per night extra which is charged as a laundry charge but on a nightly basis. You do not get clean sheets every night for this charge. This charge is not easily seen on the booking page, apparently it is in the small print of which there is a lot and I was informed of this after making the reservation. Have never encountered charges for single occupancy of a bedroom.

The apartment was exceptionally well set up, modern and clean. There was a lovely private patio to sit in and enjoy. Staff were very helpful when we arrived. My sister was in a wheelchair and the girls helped getting it down the 2/3 steps. Both beds were very comfortable and shower facilities were very good.and clean and very modern. Very good value for money.

As we were 3 family members, we had to pay an extra 30€ to use couch bed, both beds were doubles. We felt it a little dear.

The apartment was very clean, with all amenities, the owners very nice, they told us all the things we can do in the surroundings. We only stayed one night so we couldn't enjoy the accomodation to much.

Although everything was very clean, the comforter(blanket) didn't have cover sheet to put it in. It is not very hygienic because i don't think the comforters are washed after each tourist. The living area and one of the bedroom is separated only by a fake wall that has a hole at the top of the wall and you can hear noise from the other room. But we stayed only one night and it didn't bother us that much.

Our hosts were great--they met us at the apartment to give us the keys. They were extremely friendly and gracious to help us get our car parked in the nearby underground lot as well as to give us many recommendations for restaurants and sites. They really went above and beyond. Would definitely recommend. The apartment is simple but clean and close to sites.
