Jelena - Spacious Sea View Apartment - Old Town Zadar

Wir wurden von Jelena herzlich empfangen. Die Unterkunft ist toll und liebevoll eingerichtet. Der Balkon ist bei großer Hitze am Nachmittag nicht zu nutzen, da die Klimaanlage dort die warme Luft hin pustet. Aber die Aussicht ist fantastisch und das morgendliche Frühstück mit Blick auf das Meer wunderschön. Es war alles sauber. Bitte nicht von der äußeren Hausfassade abschrecken lassen. Tipp: an der Promenade kann man ins Wasser springen oder sonnenbaden oder abends ein Picknick mit Aussicht machen.

Ein Parkplatz ist Glückssache und die Autofahrt auf der Altstadtinsel beschwerlich. Also entweder ohne Auto anreisen, einen entfernten Parkplatz nutzen (da gibt es mehrere nicht weit entfernte) oder zur richtigen Uhrzeit das Auto parken.

The view is to die for. Absolutely stunning. Great location and we enjoyed finishing our evenings in the bars at the back of the property. Could definitely life there. Very clean and tidy.

Kitchen was a little small to cook for 4 people. Took a while to work out how get hot water out of the shower in the ensuite of the main bedroom. Aircon was welcome but not strong enough. As a disabled person I had the challenge of 8 steps to get to the lift.

We loved the location, just round the corner from the side streets of Zadar and into the town centre. The balcony was fabulous, overlooking the sea with a couple of chairs and a table to sit out on. The apartment is a short, pleasant walk from the Sea Organ and to watch the spectacular sunsets. While we were there there was also a music festival so we listened to an orchestra and watched dancers all in the cool of the evening. We also appreciated the two en suite bathrooms, we didn't realise this when we booked so it was a bonus. The apartment was clean and the kitchen was fully equipped.

The back bedroom was very noisy on the Thursday and Friday evenings, to the point that sleep was impossible without earplugs, the front bedroom faced the main road where you could hear the traffic but it wasn't loud enough to keep you awake. We had a problem with the balcony door which was working for the first day but in the evening of the second day it would not close - we eventually got it closing but it was a bit of a worry. The apartment was up three flights of stairs and the lift was old (we were warned against using it) so it would not be suitable for people with mobility issues.

We would have liked more crockery and cutlery, because there weren't enough small plates for breakfast even for only two people. It was noisy, not inside the house but from the street in front and the bar at the back, on friday there was life music until 1.30 in the night and extremely loud

Perfect location looking straight out to the water, easy access to the promenade, but also from the rear of the block to the restaurants and bars. The apartment was very bright and spacious, with a natty little kitchen. Well equipped with dishwasher and washing machine, and has the bonus of two shower rooms/loos. Our hostess, Jelena, was just lovely and met us outside at the taxi to help with our luggage.

The noise at night from the bars at the rear, and at the front of the block at ground level. I felt that a lamp and coffee table in the sitting area would make it so nice. The twin beds are actually like children's bunk beds with cupboards and shelves. My son loved his little room, but it was quite difficult to get to the top bunk.

Great location and lovely apartment across the road from seafront and right in the main area for restaurants and shops. From the outside the building was shabby but beautiful apartment once inside

Great location - close to the old town and waterfront. Short walk to the Sea Organ. Very clean. Comfortable beds. Lift to the apartment.
