Cozy loft in the heart of Sofia

The location of the property was great, close to the centre of Sofia and across the road from a park where we had awesome experiences (outdoor gym, the three monkeys dining/ bar and table tennis). The host was responsive in his messages and our questions were answered in a timely manner. Although the bathroom is small, I found that it functioned okay (although there was a horrible smell). The shower pressure was adequate and the water was warm.

It was really difficult to use the “kitchen” area. There is not suitable facility to do washing up, which is evident in that some of the kitchen items were dirty. There is only a single plate despite listing being for multiple adults. There weren’t any bowls. The bathroom really smells so bad. The bed had stains and looks like it wasn’t changed from the previous guest. The bed felt a bit unsafe clambering in and out of as not even a handle. There were big holes in the wall and cracks in the ceiling. One of the nights I had some night terrors for a few hours, of the ceiling above my face collapsing in and that there were spiders/snakes coming from the big hole near my feet. The bin was the size of a sandwich bag, not suitable really for a stay of multiple nights. The place felt so unclean, it actually made me feel a bit dirty. It needs vast improvements.

I liked the coziness of the place. The host was great, internet was really fast and the router was there to connect with wire if needed, location is also great

If you are peculiar about clean places, you will notice that this place needs to be cleaned better in certain places, but it was satisfactory for me.

The location

Dangerous bed with no barrier to stop you from falling down 2 meters. Tv remotes out of battery. A cockroach in the bathroom. The electricity went off three times in one night, every time the AC going off, and every time it went on again the TV light turned on, meaning we had to go down the dangerous bed every time.

Actually, just the location

Everything. There were bugs. We had to kill them, and the loft was not clean. We found dirty socks on the floor and dirty cups. The bathroom smells a lot.
