Lake Luxe - Taupo

Its location

We requested sky tv and weren’t told it didn’t have it. The WiFi was very slow so couldn’t cast sky either. The dish washer did work. There is a mouse living in the kitchen. The dishes were dirty probably because of the dish washer not working. The toilet brush in the ensuite is disgusting and needs replacing.

Loved the space with the 2 levels as we were a couple with a family of 4 . . This allowed the children to have free reign downstairs without interrupting quality time with our close friends from Tokyo.

Probably the only blemish was the proximity to the main road in to Taupo . . However the road noise was minimal with double glazing and by evening we sat out in the late sun as the flows diminished.

The property is the perfect location, just out of the main center but not so far away that it takes long to get there. A quick 5 minute drive to city center. It was warm, inviting, comfortable & clean. a Beautiful property to stay at.

The stairs were a little bit of a concern with a toddler so anyone staying with an under 2 year old like we did, I would suggest requesting the baby gate for the top of the stairs or be prepared to be hyper alert.

Beautiful interior design and exactly same as the picture. Very detailed and thoughtful email providing all informations needed.

Very warm and cosy. Super clean and luxurious to stay at. I Loved the interior design. Warm underground tiles in the bathroom. Beautiful bedding and towels.

The apartment is so beautiful and we enjoyed every little detail in the rooms. The apartment is quite spacious and the host was kind enough to inform us of how to access the house, and we had no trouble getting in. The kitchen is well equipped and allows us to cook our meals. The balcony overlooks the lake and has a barbecue facility. We enjoyed our stay.

The apartment is close to the main road so it could be noisy at daytime and gets quieter during the nights.
