Location, cleanliness, attentiveness of the lovely host, and comfortable apartment.

Just a few facilities were lacking but overall it was very pleasant

The apartment is in a quiet, residential neighborhood on the edge of town, and only a 4 minute walk past bars, cafes and restaurants to Piazza del Commune, the main town square. From there it’s a further 10 minute walk to the Basilica of St. Francis. It’s near the road, so transferring luggage is a breeze and there is both free and paid parking very near. It looks like the apartment has recently been updated; everything was in apple pie order and very clean. It has a full working kitchen and a generous array of kitchen items. Our bed was very comfortable and the bathroom was generous. Wifi worked perfectly. Our host, Marilena is a treasure! Warm, friendly, responsive, and very helpful; comm. She had lots of recommendations for places to eat. Do try her friend’s gelateria near S Chiara church: Leccapaletta for the BEST homemade gelato EVER!

There is not a thing not to like about this apartment and our host!

Perfectly situated close to bus station and the city centre of Assisi. Spacious and clean with everything you need in an apartment. Comfortable bed. Cool and nice. Marilena, the hostess gave me great instructions through WhatsApp to find my way to the apartment upon arrival and to get the keys and came to visit before I left when she got back to Assisi.

Good location. Newly renovated appartment with fully equiped kitchen. Very clean.

No daylight coming into the house.

The apartment is very comfortable and the location is well located. The bus stops just minutes away from the apartment which was quite good for us. There is a direct bus from the airport that stops right there. However we were not aware of this. We found out after we arrived there by taxi!

Excellent location 50 metres to bus stop has everything you need for a long weekend stay.
